Stepmania confession

I make simfiles so that I can play and watch them myself. I never release simfiles if I do not enjoy them and consider them stepped to their full potentials. Typically it takes me about 10 hours to step a 2 minute song.

Here's where it gets weird.
I'm a simfile narcissist. I only play my own charts and nothing else.
On the other hand, if they don't get played enough in the community, I feel like I wasted time too. That's me being hypocritical and selfish, since if I like something, that doesn't mean it has to be liked by everyone else.

Now that I have said this, from now on my simfile releases will be simple and I won't be making excessive effort to promote them, since apparently there are some people being annoyed by it.

I make Sims, and throw them at packs, if there's nothing wrong sync wise, and rejected, fuck it, ain't changing it cause I like it. (95%of the time)

Yah I felt I was never given any credit for stepping several minute piano pieces with out copy and paste and eventually 4 panels didn't seem like enough to express ideas :L

I love watching my files auto play but not as much as I like playing them like my dream theater files xD

Step 6-key, it'll feel like a whole new world just opened up to you. Copy and paste works in some cases, like for leitmotif purposes.

Actually I'm the same at times
I just feel like only playing what I stepped, like if you want something cooked the way you like it, better make it yourself.

I watch Ant Funeral 3 times a day.
I don't think you overdid anything about promoting your simfiles, and they are mostly good anyway.

I'm 90% sure every step artist plays their files more than they play anyone elses files

The only time I open up SM nowadays is to play my own files

I stepped 14 files for vgmp4.
Every time I open Stepmania these days, I play all of them, one right after the other. So... I know the feeling.
