You should try putting sm on event mode... it makes things easier.

marv timing is your friend... event mode too... and no timer as well...
plus playing songs on their hardest mode... plus playing well known songs (i know a few, but not even half)

First, I take a lot of screenshots of them scrolling on accident, it really is an AA.
Second, I didnt do the [img] thing cause I didnt need 3 posts worth of images. Third, wtf is event mode lol(meaning how do you turn it on). edit: Ignore pic 00014, I accidentally did it when it was scrolling, the pic 00015 is the one I meant to upload. |

Event mode can be found in coin options. It removes the three song limit, and makes it so you can play however many songs you like before having to restart.

Oh thank god I've been wanting to do that FOREVER. Now I can stop hitting "esc" at the end of every song I practice on.
edit: I'll go get Halloween right now... |

Well, after 23 times of trying, I noticed how much I really suck at this song. Well, this is my best, I CANNOT full combo this.

Why? Its so frickin hard to AAAA songs so I'm happy with the original ddr style. I guess I'll do Halloween with Marvs on just for you, because I'm bored. Dont expect a nice MA though, probably at least 200 perfects. I'll be back in like 10.

Tosh, when you add attachments, that's when you can only get 3 per post. When you're hosting the image yourself, it's infinite.
And since when did the scroll wheel only go one space over the real score? ~Squeek |

Yeah, unless you happened to stop on the AAA perfectly while the wheel was spinning, the Mortal Combat is edited.

As I said, I accidentally hit it perfectally. I even thought I hit it on a "D" on accident. I really got an AA, I accidentally uploaded the wrong pic, I have the right pic up there now. I dont edit pics, I suck at editing pics. If I edited it you would be able to tell in 3 seconds. Besides, if I wanted to BS wouldnt I make it so that I got all perfects on that song rather than like 8 greats...
edit: Why SHOULDNT it be on Heavy, then, Izzi? |

yea... that isn't even halloween Oni. plus, marv timing not only allows you to see your PA abilities, but also how well your timing is beyond that. tons of people can AAA eggman's quasar. if we all just had AAAs then how would we tell who is really the best... or how could you see if you are improving? thats what marv timing helps with. its a great way to track your improvements...
plus, you're playing a song... and its like "marv, marv, marv, marv... then you hit 2 perfs.." you know to readjust your timing slightly to put you back on the marvs edit: to answer for Izzi... it shouldn't be on heavy because there is a harder mode to play on... the mode that just about everyone plays on.

He can play whatever mode he wants to play on. Not everyones been playing the game for months or is extremely good at it.
And yea, leave marvs on because it will improve your overall timing when you learn to hit almost all marvs. Good work, though.
