So, is this part of the Steam Box I've been hearing about? Or was the Steam Box the OS this entire time?
Kind of interesting. Though I don't really see a benefit to switch to an entire new OS to play games. Eh... not sure about this. |

it's not very clear what this offers over steam

i don't understand convenience of having an OS dedicated to steam when i could just have a computer with steam installed on it that does the same thing. if it's to avoid the overhead of a traditional general purpose OS, i guess that makes sense, but it's not a compelling enough reason for me to use it imo.
