Default Monitor Headphones

Well I finally started making music and I need headphones that are actually flat, since fanny wang 2001's are definitely not flat
looking for a good recommendation and please don't say the ATH-M50's

If you have more to spend than ath-m50s would be, i'd recommend browsing amazon for sennheiser models. If you find a pair you think you like, look it up on http://www.head-fi.org/

They normally have shit loads of user-generated reviews worth reading

There's loads of other places to find reviews like amazon itself and What Hifi

Good luck!

They work fine for me.

Obviously there are much better headphones out there, but for their price, the ath-m50s are really not that bad.

EDIT: They have a similar issue to KRK Studio Monitors, they are a bit thumpy in the low end because for some reason, like KRK's, they are (or at least were) frequently purchased by hip hop producers.

Scratch everything I said, fuck the headphones, get some Genelecs
