The only way I could think people could call me out is by not right clicking the short cut and doing "Properties" (forgot to), but I showed what time the file was modified on so showing the shortcuts is irrelevant.

It *would* be easy to just have the .old files in the song folder for Black Note Etude already, and sync the clock with it, so the method you had for proving that it was legit was very flawed. The videos were split, so you had time to change the clock and make the .old file. I don't think you did that, just saying the proof means absolutely nothing.

If you wanna prove it *after* you got the score, close stepmania, go to the stepmania folder, show the ini, go to program>stepmania.exe (make sure it's not a shortcut), and go back to the Quasar. Have the score be the same as what was shown on your results screen, and there's your proof.

Just make sure everyone can see what you are doing.

That's the thing. Though I still don't think he BS'd or anything, and that he gave a valid attempt at proving it, this video shouldn't change anybody's mind about whether he did it or not, because his method was just too flawed.

That's the thing privateer, you can't really sync up the clock to when I did it, and the other .old files would've been overwritten.

You could have more than one folder with Black Note Etude, and you have unlimited time to change your clock to whenever, as long as you have the Stepmania results screen up when you come back.

And I don't see why Arch has to prove anything. He's never lied before, and other people have probably done similar or harder things.

When Arch releases his DVD : Arch0wl's Greatest Stepmania Moments, he could use that video as a deleted scene or maybe director's commentary. LOL I never doubted Arch's ability from some of the other videos he has shown. Maybe his age I doubted because I thought he was like 19. =)

I just want to say that lying about a game involving hitting arrow keys on a keyboard is probably the dumbest and most useless action ever committed by human beings, especially when you could lie about much better things like penis size. Well, while I think videos aren't needed in the first place, Privateer brings up a good point. Which is why I believe a standard for video proof should be made with EVERYBODY's needs satisfied. Because apparently ini and judge aren't enough anymore. It's a pain, I know. But if you're going to satisfy your entire audience, it might be necessary.

So, what we need to do now is collaborate over what is required from a video. Obviously, the score screen, judge, and ini are needed. Apparently shortcuts are bad. Arch's idea of making the .old file to the date was good, but since Privateer noticed a flaw in that, it's necessary to think of another.

Or you could just not care and show only screenshots since video proof shouldn't be needed more than once in your lifetime.
