Whats the "Overall Rank"?

because, i dunno if this happens to most people, but it says 1 for me. And if thats like, really good then there must be a misprint because i joined yesterday. And if its bad....then im sad. :P

It just means the rank hasnt been updated in a while, you arn't ranked number one

Yeah, I've got the same thing. I think this is the case for all new players. Your score determines your rank, but until a rank update is done to find out where you place, you get a default rank (1) instead. The actual 1st place person is, IIRC, jimerax.

Yeah, that same applies to levels you haven't played...it will say "Old Rank: 1" or whatever the first time you score.

Yep. I've been 512th for quite some time now... No rush though on updating; I'm more concerned with R2 coming out... Whenever it does

True. Being a volunteer effort/project, we do have to be patient. However, there do seem to be quite a few new people currently unranked who are waiting for an update to see if they can get a working stats sig, myself included. I do hope the ranking updates are done (semi-)regularly and that it's not *too* long of a wait between them.

I thought it was possible to play the game without being registered, you just wouldn't save or accumulate any stats, credits, high scores, etc. I'm not sure though because I registered right away, before playing. But if you can play without registering, someone *could* have been around for over a year fooling around now and then, only deciding to register now. Unlikely, if they liked it that much they should have registered earlier, but is possible.

For how to use the stats sig, read the sticky thread in the general forum. That has all the details you'll need.

Why you're still at rank 1? All I can imagine is that you haven't played enough to get enough total points to be ranked. As I understand it, they only give ranks to the top 150000 scoring players; that's also where you need to be placed before the stats sig will work for you. The rankings were updated only a few days ago and that's when my sig started working. So I have to guess that your total points score is too low to be ranked. How many points do you have?

I'm certainly no expert, but when I was wondering how many points I needed to get it, people were guessing around 20 million give or take some. If that's about right, then your close to 30 million points should probably get you a rank and working stats sig the next time they update the ranks.

Thsi game kicks ass. I've been playing for a good while now. My overall rank is 5867 though. It was 12000 some last week. But, I guess it has to update again sometime.
