(nsfw)Mermaid sculpting, part one

I restarted my mermaid project from scratch that I was working on the other day due to my symmetry becoming effed.

Instead of streaming it live and boring you guys to death, I made a timelapse video instead, which actually helps me to recognize errors in my workflow more easily by watching as well. I'll have part 2 probably around Jan 2nd when I'll have more time to devote to this.

I realllllllly advise any of you even slightly interested in 3d to check out ZBrush, it's a really great program and is part of my every day modeling workflow.

Here's what I did the other day that I had to scrap completely.
