What do you think? Does Tasselfoot deserve the FFR Legend status for all his hard work and dedication to FFR? I thought there were enough points on either side to make this a nice discussion/debate/argument/shitfight. So please vote in the poll and explain why or why not you think Tasselfoot should be made an FFR Legend.

Sure. I mean he /was/ in charge and ran things smoothly for a very long time.
I dont know why he shouldnt have that kind of status.

Regardless of a lot of the junk that went down in the time before the site went down for a while, he did contribute tons to the site and I think he should have the title.

Let's GO.

Unfortunately at the beginning years of my time here I didn't really look at the forums or really know the going-ons of FFR because tbh, I didn't really care - I just wanted to talk to friends and play FFR. However, I do know that the way he left wasn't the best, but I do think that people should focus on why he was well-known during ALL of the span of time he was here, not just the last years. That wouldn't be fair, but people usually do focus on the negatives because it stands out the most usually.
Anyway, I wonder what people think - interesting topic for sure, rushy. |

I do have something (borderline snide) that I want to say, but I won't.
In any event, he did handle quite a bit of things while he was around, and he kept to his word even when others did not. I personally think he is someone who qualifies for Legend status as well. |

14 viewing, damn.
eh, sure. Why not give it to him? He really had a very good reason for leaving the site and when he was here he led very well. Leadership status = FFR Legend IMO and i wonder why synthlight isn't a Legend? |

Yes, for sure. Regardless of what happened before the downtime happened, he's contributed so much to the community that he would surely deserve the status.

No.
He left the site, he's never really accomplished anything, and he was kinda a dictator when he was here. I'd rather see someone important in the legend area. |

I don't think the legend status is given to those who are still active on the site (and idk why AJ has it, but whatever idc that much). So that's probably why Synth isn't a legend.

I would say he deserves it. I mean, he does have the most posts.

@ rushy: I've actually wondered why I have Legend status myself, and I've inquired to Velocity about it, too - he's accredited me for a ton of work, both in sight and internally, which is the truth. While I've been around for seven years, my most active time has been the last four years. Truthfully, there are people who are more deserving of the title than I am.
Zageron and I also had a chat at one point and he told me that the status would be removed from my name because I'm still an active member of the community (albeit, losing touch), and I have no issue with that either. |

![]() To the Synth question, he is still active, and yes, Legend is only really for members not active / performing their duties as far as I'm aware.

I wasn't here when he was here, but, he sounds like a tool. (I voted no)

Netjet, quit playing messenger for the admins. This is the second or third time I've seen you say you were going to forward something onto the admins which makes us normal community members feel unimportant.
You don't need to bring anything up since AJ just brought it up himself.

Those who voted no, what reasons make you think Tass should not have legend status?
And Middie, I think you should give more explanation of why you voted no. What did he fail to accomplish? Did he fail his standards as Admin? |

@NetJet! - I don't care for it to be removed; I'm only quoting Zageron, that's all. If it is, that's fine. If not, that's fine too.
For those of you who don't think Tass is deserving of it, consider a lot of the things he brought to the plate. 1.) simfile overseer - yes, we don't agree with all of the files, but there's no doubt that he did his job. 2.) widgets - he was the one who went out of his way to make sure that stepartists made content for the embeddable widgets (which REALLY need to be brought back, just a side note) 3.) activity - 26,000+ forum posts in the forums themselves, plus actively moderating other areas of the site 4.) motivated - he kept doing his job even when things got rough. 5.) long standing member - member since 2003, and held activity for quite some time I don't know about anyone else, but he definitely possesses the attributes for someone who deserves Legend status. |
