I recently started using SM-SSC and noticed that the new way of theming opened up some pretty cool possibilities for additions to the evaluation screen. So I messed around with it a bit and added some new statistics.
![]() It's not the prettiest right now, but it's a start. As you can see this is just an addition to the default theme, but if anyone would like to add it to another theme I can probably write up some instructions on how to do it. Explanation of the statistics: MIGS DP (Marvelous Incorporated Grading System Dance Points): This is the number of dance points out of the total possible that you could have scored. You can find the formula for calculating this here. ITG DP (In The Groove Dance Points): This is the number of dance points out of the total possible that you could have scored. You can find the formula for calculating this here. Offset Avg: This is the average of all of amounts of time you were off when trying to hit the arrows. For example, if I had a song that was just 4 arrow long and I was 0.002 seconds early on the first arrow, 0.005 seconds lat on the second arrow, 0.015 seconds late on the third arrow and 0.007 seconds early on the last arrow the Offset Avg would be: (-0.002 + 0.005 + 0.015 - 0.007)/4 = 0.00275 Basically you want this to be as close to 0 as possible. If it seems consistently be far to one side of 0, you might want to consider adjusting your cmod, or theme, or global audio offset, or arrow receptor position for the theme (that's what helped me get mine from -0.007 to around -0.002) Abs Offset Avg: This is the average amount of time your taps were off. Early Taps: The number of arrows you hit early Late Taps: The number of arrows you hit late v0.01 - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=THW1SYAR *Added MIGS DP *Added ITG DP *Added Offset Avg *Added Offset StdDev *Added Early Taps count *Added Late Taps count v0.02 - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=L7C7M49E *Made the text smaller *Removed Offset Std Dev *Added Abs Offset Avg *Added a Histogram of the timing offsets This only works for SM-SSC. If anyone has any suggestions on other things that might be cool to have on the eval screen, let me know. Future plans: -Make it look better -Add some snazzy graphs -Add bar code to the eval screen that contains all of the info. Then make a site where you can upload screenshots and the site reads the bar code and inputs the data automatically. (Like Thaor's BluePlanet site but without the hassle of having to enter the values manually) -Add any good other suggestions Last edited by JohnnyLeven; 02-14-2011 at 04:06 PM.. |
