Modifying PNG files

Hey, I want to make a different background for my sig, but I don't know how to edit the file, cause paint wont open it.. do I need photoshop for this?

Are you trying to edit the PNG for the background or the sig itself?
(plus theres a sticky on this at the top of the forum)

ok what you do is you make the new PNG, 470 x 62(or edit the default I guess havent tried yet)can use paint but photoshop is WAY better and place it in the great beyond on the internet. Then at the end of the code where you have the sig already but before the [/img] tag put &url=http://www.yourpicaddresshere.com
so for example for your edited sig to work your code would be. . .

Code:

[url=http://www.flashflashrevolution.com][img]http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/ffrsiggy.php?user=al_47&url=http://www.picaddresshere.com[/img][/url]

Of course www.yourpicaddress.com would be replaced by where your BG is.
