I might as well have a thread for these since I'm getting better scores so much now. I'm definitely limited by my keyboard though. I try not to play the same file more than once at a time, but maybe I should try doing that more often?

All the perfects were in the first half. I might be able to AAAA but yeah. Seems like if I try too hard it might drive me insane lol.

Is that Patashu's HO? If so, that CB count is sick. I gotta go back and try that file again now that I've gotten a huge speed boost.

Rest of the scores are pretty meh compared to some of what I've seen, but it's likely better than what I'm capable of. Keep at it.

CB count is stupid.



I'm pretty sure I was AAAAing this up until the slow part.. maybe not.



I've gotten 1024 combo before and 2 of these CBs were in the first 1000 notes.

Thanks guys. Yeah, part of the problem is I have to press pretty hard on these keys now. I'm gonna ask my bro for a new keyboard for christmas. This one seems like a good one (definitely better than the current, at least) since I've seen reviews saying that the keys are slimmer and kinda light to press but not too light:

Tried HO last night, turns out so much FFR has wrecked my accuracy (as you know, SM's windows are slightly tighter, and holds muck everything up). Still a ways off from the AA, though I did get 12-8-8 CBs. I was tearing up so bad during the last third of the file. <<

That doesn't sound like a bad score for going through the last third tearing up. Stamina just comes from practicing songs that are difficult for you.

Tearing up as in my eyes were watering after the last big 24th section. But seriously, dood, that MA you have is beastly. VIO is insane considering the 20 tps sections.

Looks like that Mindblowin' ending got you the miss (possibly during a 32nd roll?). You have the same problem I did for the longest time with Beautiful Synergy: I had to bomb my PA to get the FC.

Your MA is cool, man. Identity, Mindblowin' and Enraptured Soulz are good. But, about the OP's scores, a thing that bothers me is your Great count, which is pretty bad compared to the rest of the score. Go fix that, and your speed, and you'll be a complete Stepman. Keep it up, man.

Well, about the second scores post, they're pretty much from older packs, like Keyboard Collaboration II (Enraptured Soulz, Mindblowin', Love and Joy) and III (Identity, VIO). Since they're old files, they're really good to practice out MA and, playing with rates like 1.2 and 1.3, Speed MA'ing.

Thanks. I think I don't position my fingers the best so they're more flat against the key but I'm trying out with my fingers curled a bit more. I think I did get that miss on a 32nd roll yeah.

I recommend getting all the Keyboard Collaborations, Fresh Flock of Fantastic Files and Fabulously Fresh Flock of Fantastic Files, and the SMGPacks if you don't already have any of those. They're in the big megapack thread here:
