I used to play the basic arrows, until i switched to QWOP. It improved my scores dramatically, even though I'm terrible at the game.

I like a wide setup, so I use 1,2,/,*
The / and * are above the numpad... Plus my keyboard is gay and most buttons won't register fast tapping so I had to look for a setup where all the keys worked fine :P

I just use the arrows, I think that when you play with your pointer fingers on each hand using the arrows it causes them to move they way your feet/legs would, so it helps you out in a way when you're actually playing DDR/ITG or whatever.

I played Index for the LONGEST time and was actually really really good at it, but I got used to spread and I'm now better than I ever was before!

All numpad:
LEFT HAND: 4 (left) RIGHT HAND: 2, 8, 6 (down, up, right) I think I'm one of the only people who does this.
