EL Shirts

I'm learning how to make electroluminescent shirts. If or when I get the method down, would anyone be interested in an FFR related EL shirt?

What I have in mind would be the < V ^ > arrows that pulse to music, with the FFR dude logo that pulses in the background as well.

Similar to this idea but with my design.

They would be more pricey than a normal shirt obviously, but yeah, would anyone be willing to pay $40+ for something like this?

I want a new FFR shirt, definitely. I said that I was gonna quit after the tourney, but now that it's done, I'm not ready to leave. xD
I can't watch the video, forgot my ipod cable where I have my ultrasurf. =(
I'll watch it when I get home. But it sounds awesome already :P

I'm thinking along these lines.

The arrows would obviously look better than this, I just wanted to do a quick mock-up to show what I had in mind.

Pshhh come pick it up, that thing is way too big to put in an envelope.

Also If I did make these shirts, it would be a VERY limited production run. Probably under 10 because of the time put into customizing these, I would even be willing to personalize each one with your username if wanted.

I'm ordering the materials sometime this week, so if anyone has any ideas lemme know.

Do u have to plug the shirt into a music playing device for it to work?
I haven't researched it much lol

Nope, you don't have to plug it into a music device, it pulses to whatever ambient sounds are around you.

Electroluminescent sheets use a very small amount of electricity, you won't burn through batteries too fast at all. It's the same technology that goes into IndiGlo watches, if that gives you a better idea of energy consumption.

I'll probably have to take pre-orders to help pay for the bulk materials, so I'll let you guys know when pre-orders will be available. I'll put up a video of the prototype shirt when I finish it.
