Despite the side effects of energy drinks..

they are oh so addicting. I drink two to three a day, jesus I will die soon huh?

I was wondering, what is your favorite energy drink? Mine would be Fruit Punch NOS in the can, because of the weird taste of the bottled ones.

haha, I sorta have the same issue, even though it isnt bad as it used to be. But the worst I have gone was drinking like 2 or 3 of the Monster BFC's which is only limited to one can a day. lol.

You'd have to be pretty damn stupid to drink 2-3 energy drinks a day.
My favorite is Full Throttle.

I get free Monster energy drinks, so that's essentially the only one I'll drink.

They help me if I'm feeling down and need to get a lot of study or work done anyway, since they're great for giving you a boost and allowing you to focus. Obviously anything in too great a quantity is bad for you though. Take it easy on the energy drinks people :P

I doubt you'll be dying any time soon though. They're not *that* bad for you. It's not poison in a bottle or anything. Drinking heavy alcohol or smoking heavily has got to be worse, and people do those things all the time.

I find it hard to believe that energy drinks actually give you any kind of energy. They just make your body think it needs the suger and caffeine, which makes it so you don't get your full potential energy without it.

Although I'm pretty sure that is the case with most addictions in some sense.

Energy drinks indeed give you a nice boost. I wouldn't have been able to plow through like 8 finals/sem without them.

That's cool. It doesn't explain how fast you have to drink that many cans for it to kill you. I'm guessing the equation just determines how much caffeine will kill you if instantly consumed.

Also it doesn't really take into account that if you had the tendency to drink ridiculous amounts of energy drinks daily that you would form resistances to those amounts of caffeine. And for the soda's it averages around 200+ cans to kill you. Your stomach would probably rupture before you died of the caffeine.

Im drinking one of these right now. Nothing but 32 oz of sugar of delightful badness that will eventually lead to a unhealthy body and soon a heat attack or death period. So much joy out of drinks.
