Put some use to the User Map.

Hi, welcome to my suggestions thread. I've been thinking about it & the User Map doesn't load on either one of my computers. None of the ones I've ever tried. If it does for somebody, then tell me. But I've got a suggestion of making the User Map friends only. That way we would be at least putting some use to the User Map.

Yeah, I know I'm bad at introductions. :P:P

Idea from passivegirl: Make it so that you get to choose if you want to be on the User Map or not.

This way instead of being able to view nobody on the User Map you could view your friends only.

The usermap isnt even working properly. When it was working you could see everyone.

It's not working because it times out before it can load every flag on the map.

Well, if you have everyone being shown on the User Map then it doesn't load. But it would be nice if they fixed that.

I, personally, find the User Map borderline creepy. Hmm.
A function should be offered that allows you to not be displayed on the map if it's your preference.

i agree with that because not everyone is comfortable with the fact that online "friends" or just users know where you live...

It should automatically be set to you not being displayed on it, so that if there's anything against people under age 13 sharing that information, blah, blah, blah, it's not a problem.
