Default ARGH! it wont accept my keypresses!

i pisses me off! i keep playing the chrono trigger song because, well, it's awesome, but in those parts where it's four, almost in a line, and you have to hit them really fast, it wont accept them. i've hit faster things in stepmania, so it's not my keyboard. FFR just wont accept my keypresses that fast, or something. but yeah, alot of songs do stuff like this and it makes me mad. why is this? a limitation of Flash, or what?

No hard feelings please.

Yes, this is a limitation of Flash, I have had the exact same problem and have reserched it extensively.

Hoping that the R2 engine will fix this problem,

Make sure your keyboard is securely plugged into the keyboard port on the back of the computer. Once this is complete, depress the front power button to turn on your computer. As long as you follow these simple steps, you should have a great time with your new PC!

i already stated that i can do faster things in stepmania, so i know it's a problem just in ffr. i'm just wondering why it is a problem.

Like I said earlier, even if nobody is paying attention, it is a probelm with Flash, and not a problem with the keyboard. I have also done much faster things than that in StepMania and know that it is not my keyboard.

Thinking people don't listen to me,

hmmm actually... if u look at the high scores for that song... all the legit ones r only as high as a combo that get's chopped in half in the middle seciton that yur talking about... so that means it's not just us...

Also... I'm not sure about this, but in other songs, FFR registers arrows at that speed properly... so I'm not so sure if it's actually a problem with flash, maybe just a glitch with the song...

EDIT: actually, maybe not... that is relatively fast...

yeah, but not so fast that i cant hit it. 99% of the time i realize when i've messed up and not hit something and i can tell what i'm doing wrong, but i know i'm hitting these correctly, so it really makes me mad. i suppose it will get fixed in the next version, and until then there's always stepmania.

You've been here for over a year and you don't know about glitched arrows?

Some arrows on certain songs are glitched... in Chrono, there are arrows where you can't hit them no matter what... I think around 7..

there's only 2 glitched arrows that I know of in chrono, the last arrow in the sets of 4 that evilbutterfly is complaining about. I believe those are the only glitched arrows left in the game, synth dealt with the other ones (no idea why he didn't deal with chrono...)

And if Afronova Primeval were on FFR, the last double's left arrow would be glitched too.

This isn't even a problem with flash itself, it's just a little bug in the arrow. If you hit the glitched arrow 2 or 3 times, it will add on to your combo, but it just keeps going and doesn't register.
