What song is this tab from?
Ive been searching for a while and cant find anything. I heard my friend play this a while ago, and I'm fairly sure its not a song he wrote. If someone who plays guitar could try this tab out really quick and see if you recognize it I'd appriciate it. Thanks =] (All played on the 6th string)

I just googled it and there was only a few results.
http://www.google.com/search?q=%22%2...22&btnG=Search "Country song" by Blink 182, "Drink you Pretty" by Stephen Lynch, and "Elmo Song". Now, I can't read tabs, but the if I had to guess, the Elmo song one seems to match what you're describing best.

I played it and haven't heard the tune myself. Pretty basic note progression, so it could be any number of things.

A lot of songs use a basic bass line, alternating between the tonic and the dominant. U:
