Default Trying out Drum 'n' Bass

It took me days to the percussion for this song, called "Ice Phoenix". It's the first segment I've initially finished (hence "Build 1.0"). It still has alot of work to be done, so don't expect something spectacular.

I approve as you already know.

Really liked the entrance of the strings at the end. Looking forward to more.

This is awesome, and I don't usually like DnB.

I can't wait to see this finished

Okay it's all complete. The song is 8:22 long, so there will definately have to be a short version in the future. It starts off tense, then it mellows out. Hope you like it.

This time I'm not gonna repost the link, just scroll a bit.

lol.. Star Quest uses the piano from that one Ayla song. (Maybe Angelfalls, not sure which.. that was so long ago).

Still really amazing stuff, though.

What synths did you use for this?

Yeah, that's the one lol, I forgot which chords I got it from. However, this thread is about Ice Phoenix.

Alright, I was just asking because I really like that style of bass, but none of my synths have it.

O.O
What?

Blaze like... Starts off slow and then comes on with a constasnt fast paced melody.

This song starts off the same when it comes to the snares/hi-hats (w/e it is) but the melody changes and isnt constant like blazes.. Not to mention blaze's sound seems to stay the same while this one switches it up a bit.

Similar but not the "extremely".

There is no short version yet. You could cut the song if you want.
