mental overscan (newgrounds)
Apparently NG doesn't like acid trance, maybe you do FFR.

Re: mental overscan
I've lost all subjectivity due to how much I've worked on the song, but I'm absolutely open to suggestions.

Re: mental overscan
What kind of voice modulation do you use?
There's something missing to this track, but I can't put my finger on it... it just doesn't feel "full". The whole song feels veiled, like there's a sheer fabric over my speakers that slightly muffles it, I suppose the song has very minimum highs so I shouldn't be too surprised.

Re: mental overscan
Hi-hats cluttered everything else I wanted the track to do. Really, you need to put on headphones and ****ing crank it or it doesn't make sense.
The voice mod is a flanger cranked fully wet over the whispered vocals, and then a midi controlled Antares to modulate the pitch. One of the auto-tuners crashed during render, and so one of the vocals sounds out of place, but I felt like it added a layer of dissonance. The regular vocals are just antares and an autopanner, which slows as the vox break down at the end. But you wouldn't notice that with speakers.
