Re: FFR 10 Miss Rate Challenge
A more realistic expectation would be 1.5x and 2.0x on your suggested difficulties. Songs get harder to scale up as the difficulty increases, some patterns just can't be played at those speeds.
i would also suggest actually picking a song for each division, not every song is created equal. 1.2 on a 40 stream file might make it a 48, but 1.2 on a 40 jack/js file might make it 70 or higher because of the pattern complexity. The problem is more apparent when you try to play something over 60 on a 2x rate because a majority of the patterns become extremely difficult. I don't think there is a person on this site who could FC an 82 on 2.0, Maybe I'm wrong but you look at files like DP and RATO that are ~25% slower at their peak and they only have a handful of FCs, where they are designed to be played at that speed. Picking a song also eliminates the need for a somewhat meaningless scoring system based on misses, you can just compare the scores directly. |

Quote:
Same with 65-70 on 3x, which is even worse. Try playing Club, EuroMorroc, EHHS, etc. on 3x rate. 360 BPM long 16th jacks? 546 BPM 16th jumpstream? |

Re: FFR 10 Miss Rate Challenge
Yeah, these are completely unrealistic. Vertex BETA is a 64, but no human being can play 3x on it without vibrating through the whole song.

Re: FFR 10 Miss Rate Challenge
Because of people saying the difficulty was too harsh I lowered the required difficulty. so your score might not count

Re: FFR 10 Miss Rate Challenge
Everything in D7 is too aids at those rates, unless I can find something. That said, this is a little bit fun, posting a score per division.

Re: FFR 10 Miss Rate Challenge
I was thinking vibrating Romance In The Club 2.0 rate but those clusters are absolutely atrocious
Everything in the 65-70 range on 3x rate is unplayably hard. Fast Asleep 2.0 is probably harder to get less misses than Romance In The Club, but I'm not sure |
