I don't know if endangering your children is a rule you should be allowed to set in your own home.

father responsibilities as a person completely differ from responsibilities as a landlord
people need to understand that.

Re: Leaving FFR for a while
This kind of reminds me of that viral video of a father shooting his daughters laptop or something.

Re: Leaving FFR for a while
from reading the IM that rushy posted, your father seems to have similarities to that of my Mother concerning computers & video games. She never played them as a child or teenager because she was born in the 60's and that stuff wasn't around at the time. When the 90s strolled around the corner and she gave birth to me, she was reluctant to understand all the new info that came along with it, and to this day, she still doesn't know how to properly operate a computer nor how it works. She can barely work the hand-controller for the PS3 when she can use the remote for the T.V. just fine.
It feels like your father is scared to admit change in life, because it's all happening so fast and his reasons to back up his claim is to act more like him back in the 20th century when we didn't have all this technology around us. |

Re: Leaving FFR for a while
who shoots something to make a point? It's obvious his dad cares, and I doubt someone would just shoot something over a small reason like this.
then again murrica so ???? is Riot's dad worried for a good reason? |

Re: Leaving FFR for a while
While i'm pretty sure there were much better ways for your dad to display his distaste for your gaming habit, and get his point across.. I don't think we should hop on any bandwagon to demonize his father for this considering we only know one side of the story and not all of the facts. I doubt his dad would shoot his phone for no reason, and from the facts that I've seen posted in the thread, Riot has been disobeying his dads rules for a while.
It may be harsh, but my suggestion is that if you don't like the situation you're living under then you should probably work on finding a job and an apartment somewhere. |

Really though if he wants to live with his father he should play by his father's rules, not his own. That's the price you pay when you live with your parents. He should probably move out if he doesn't enjoy his living conditions. I know I would move out. |
