Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
I have the really old version of FFR with like 4 songs on my computer still lmfao. Only been registered for like 2.6 years, but I've been lurking for much longer.

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
I remember when there was a glitch with the jumps, and both arrows were never synced together. That's when I first found this site.
Oh, and when Delirium came out, it was a FMO. Good times. And when I beated it, I was all, "OMG I finally beat a FMO song!", back when I was a huge noob. Good times.

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
They changed all the "blank-levels" (FoTBB, Grand Gallop Chromatique) shortly after I signed up.
I'll admit, I mashed FotBB as a <100K-rank "because I thought it was funny", just like all the other noobs. XD

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
when all the song difficulties were overhauled... thats when I was like "wow, I really suck" lol
back then I also didnt even know the difference between very difficult and very challenging ... some of the song difficulties were just that messed up ... and I think one of the songs that is now set at difficult was at very challenging back then and I used to brag about how I could pass it and how I was so good ah, good times. this site has come a long way

I remember that kinda stuff. But that's not what I really remember fondly.
It was people like Zagh and TheRaiRai on the forums. Those were good times.

The best days of my life back then are when I finally got enough credits for all the purchase and secret songs. Lol.

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
And Final Fantasy VII Boss Battle. Those were good times. I remember bragging to my friends that I actually beat Flight Of The Bumble Bee and they didn't believe me. I told them that the last note was a double up/down but there was no way to prove it since they could never beat the song to see for themselves.
EDIT: I found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7V65zdHc7o. The life bar used to be circles, only one frame for a perfect instead of three, and boos would break your combo. Sounds like fun.

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
Yeah I remember I first found out about this site in my computers class in middle school almost 4 years ago and I was always amazed by FoTBB and the zelda remix. I played them for hours. Good times..

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
I remember when the chat box was still a boring white box with five rooms and for some reason rooms 1 and 5 were the same...

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
Balloon Fever was an FGO and like the 3rd song I played. I couldnt get passed the 8th note jumpstreams in the beginning.

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
My favorite time ever was when I first FC'd snowflakes before final exams and then all the words on the exams looked like arrows. Snowflakes seemed so hard back then..
Guess I liked the site best a couple years ago than ever.

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
LOLZ Anyone been to www.ddrspain.com I never understood that...but I remember the days of invisible arrows, I'd wanna fail outta a song cause it wasn't what I wanted and I'd end up with like a 5 combo O_o.
Also back when I'd accidentally click a song, then scroll down and pick a song in the same spot and it'd be the song that I first picked -_-. That was my own stupid fault. Honestly though, what is DDRSpain? That has been bothering me for ages. |
