Question background removal

Heya all,

Is deleting all BG images in the songs folder the only option to remove backgrounds in stepmania? Or is there a quick way, something is options/metric.
I downloaded alot packages yesterday and they all have a bg. T_T

Thanks in advance.

You can make them less bright (or hide it) by going to Background Options in the Options area. (I believe it's the same for SM 3.9, SM3.95, SM4 and SM5, not too sure really)

Replace the default bg in your stepmania folder with a completely black background (I just actually had that default picture, then paintbucketed the entire thing black in photoshop lol).

For songs with existing backgrounds, you can replace it with the black background, or if you want to keep it, use the above poster's suggestion by darkening the background.

Correct (
Options -> Background Options -> Brightness = 0%. That's for 3.9, which i use.
