In-Earphones.
Just curious about what kind of in-earphones people on this site would recommend. As long as it's within the $250 price range, I think I should be able to work my way through the price.

Hmm...well. I use a $15 pair of iFrogs. They work great! But there are some there that have mics built into them, and those may run for $75 or higher...

Re: In-Earphones.
I just use a $20 pair of Skullcandy, which are great, but then again, I don't do anything too advanced with them. Just stepping, and listening to music, of course.
Other than that, I can't really recommend anything. Is there anything specific you're looking for? |

Re: In-Earphones.
I've had a pair of Bose in-ears for the past 3-4 years or so. I've grown very fond of them for their excellent quality.

Re: In-Earphones.
best earphones i've ever used in my life. usually i have a tendency to break earphones within a month or so, but this has lasted me for almost a year.. got it as a christmas present last year and it is still working.
i have the black version of this.. costs around $10-14 with tax? as for in-ears, i have another one made from sony, but im not sure where i can find it. it's all light blue and the buds get pretty dirty if you don't clean your ears. they're around $20-25 because of the buds themselves. |

I always use the JVC Gumi's, they're the only kind that stay in my ear. ;_;

Re: In-Earphones.
While I can't recommend a pair of earphones out of experience since I hate them, I can direct you to a website where you will be able to test them yourself to see what you think.
http://www.headphone.com/headphones/in-ear.php Some earphones that may be worth considering: http://www.headphone.com/headphones/etymotic-hf5.php (149.99)* http://www.headphone.com/headphones/phiaton-ps-200.php (199.99) http://www.headphone.com/headphones/...ears-ue500.php (69.99) ] http://www.headphone.com/headphones/denon-ah-c560r.php (79.99) http://www.headphone.com/headphones/denon-ah-c360.php (39.99) I have also constructed a Frequency Response graph comparing 4 of these: (ehh for the hell of it i'll do the rest of them) http://www.headphone.com/learning-ce...are+Headphones The star denotes the one I would purchase out of the 5, the other 4 are "top 5 I find within the price range you might like." The other 4 are not in any order. Hope this helps.

Re: In-Earphones.
All earbuds I've ever tried have offered the most pathetic excuse for a listening experience to ever have slithered through my ear canals. I can't understand why anyone would prefer them to an On or Around ear solution.

Re: In-Earphones.
I have a pair of earbuds that came with my Zune HD that I use strictly for running because they're essentially weightless. For any other situation I have much higher-quality audio equipment.

Re: In-Earphones.
Thanks Bluearrowll for that list. I'll be sure to check through that to see if I can find something suitable. :] ninjaKIWI, I would use IEMs because they are much more portable than around ear headphones. I've also had a few bad experiences with quite a few brands of out-of ear headphones, but that doesn't mean I haven't learned about which earphones I can use. I find Bose Noise-Cancelling earphones to be very relaxing and comfortable. Mainly, I'm looking for something portable that I plan to use on getting most of the sound in music people can't detect normally. I'm not against around earphones at all.
