Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
Yeah, this looks more like a music introduction than a permission thread.
This thread could be linked to the corresponding part of permision thread when it is updated, though. |

Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
Yes, I meant the original K8107 source. Stepfile has to have gotten the mp3 from somewhere. There are many other songs besides K8107 that I can't seem to find as well. (from Onoken)
Heads up, I won't be making a MOSAIC.WAV pack, because, as most of you know, all of their songs are for sale. In other news, Midday releases his first CD and becomes part of the Amateur music society. :O In other other news, Spitfire got rapidshare downloads for those who despise megaupload. :O Ok, I have the packs ready for Cranky 403 and dBu (note, none of dBu's CD works, including some of the songs on FFR, are going to be in this pack.). Now I just need their email confirmation. Yuuyu pack will be uploaded sometime today. Ken pack will also be uploaded sometime today.

Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
I hope Shiki comes soon!
Since midday is 1337 hax, I got some questions. On shiki's offical site, I see 3 albums or what not, I'm wondering how to download or buy those. I know the free download on muzie and all, but I wouldn't mind spending 20-30 bucks getting his CD, he really is my fav artist on FFR, Sepia Ftw |

Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
Just because OSTER Project has an anime avatar (which I think is pretty cool, hand drawn and SAI painted), doesn't mean that OSTER himself is a bad artist. Please refrain from idiotic and unnecessary comments such as this. This thread is for the purpose of appreciating the artist. Not judging them by something outside their musical talents.
And I would presume you will never play any of his songs on FFR, of course.

Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
Hmm... new and unexpected problem. OSTER Project has too many frikin pictures... what to do... should I post all of them? Or just stick with the avatar and the CD jacket?
On second thought, I'll put them with the OSTER lyrics rar. Once I upload Ken and Yuuyu, I plan to work on the Songs List before it becomes too foreboding to organize.

Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
oh midday, I also got a request.
Minamotoya ( 源屋 ) www.minamotrance.com He is my next fav to onoken and LUV2. His music style is just like OSTER, but more corresponding with trance/DnB of his 3 CD, I own two, Lunatic Phaser and Minamotrancecore, I got a torrent at 96% for duo, stuck there for half a year now. Anyhow, he also makes single songs, no listed on CDs nor anything. Would you mind to find some of his hidden works? I know Coeur is one of them. |

Also, Minamotoya is more into creating new music for the purpose of using it somewhere else, and not lending his sold songs to certain game sites. I can ask him to make a certain genre for the purpose of putting it on FFR, but I doubt he will be inclined towards allowing his already public music to go on FFR. Finally, Minamotoya has 5CDs. Not 3. 5 CDs with songs all by him, and he has put songs in 3 other CDs. (Visual Key/Touhou remixes) Downloading Lunatic Phaser from his site... it's apparently free now. Once I listen to LP, I'll ask permission for his songs on FFR. I have to learn more about how these other 2 CDs are distributed though. Chidori: Vocaloids are instruments produced by the Japanese company YAMAHA. Baker and Kisk are no different from OSTER Project and all the other artists, in that they are amateur players who "play" vocaloids.

Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
Onoken used to have a muzie page, but it's gone now. I presume that's where many of the songs came from a while ago.

Downloaded Lunatic Phase. Low quality mp3, as it states on the site, but will do. As for Minamotrance and Duo, I have no idea where they come from or how to get it, under what site. As for the sporadically placed songs (the ones in various CDs), I've gotten a good grasp of where they can be found, but I have to buy them eventually. If you have them, forward the mp3s to me so I can add them to my rar.

Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
I'll upload Minamotrancecore tonight, my internet has horrible speed.
I found the Minamotrance DUO!! torrent on NEET and attempted to download which then ran out of seeders at 96%. I'll provide you with a link soon enough. Other than that, I want to get my hands on the other 2 CD's too Shiki speaks fluent English lol <3 I talked to him before on his blog. Apparently, I joined in the protest about releasing Mercury Lamp FULL VERSION. Apparently, I was pretty pissed that such a good song had no satisfactory length. Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
OH MY GOD, THIS DESERVES A DOUBLE POST VIOLATION (sorry you lurking mods)
SHIKI HAS RELEASED YET ANOTHER CD TODAY!!!! -Trancer Doll's- SHIKI's Mini Album AND ZOMG THERE IS MERCURY LAMP 4:44 MIN <333333 -----------------update before post---------- looks like its not a double post anymore since as I am spamming this, midday posted. anyhow, for shiki, he has now, 3 CDs and a assortment of singles... -------EDIT--------------------- Yeah, I guess not then... Then again, I think it would be fairly easy to get permission from him in my opinion. I've seen his works in a few Stepmania packs like DXMIX3 and stuff like that. EDIT again: I've searched more of Shiki's CDs and works and things seem pretty tight. His first album release, Cristears, was in 2005. According to a discussion I came across with his fans, they said that his CDs are now extremely rare and difficult to find. Also, it is only distributed in Japan. I assume this only goes for his two old albums. I also tracked down a person who supposedly have his CDs on Last.FM and I've pmed him about it. Last edited by Zythus; 04-24-2008 at 11:32 PM.. |

Re: Midday's Japanese Amateur Artist Intro
If you have itunes, embed the lyrics into the song itself, you can also do this using Winamp.
In my opinion, you should include the artwork because, for me, I like my ipod with coverflow XD. It also gives the songs some backgrounds in terms of feeling or depth if you see what the artist wants to imply in a song, via, a picture. who the hell wants to listen to some punk english kid telling him asking him about permissions? Honestly, my japanese is limited and I doubt my opinions matter to him if I said it in english. So with all respect, I think you should attempt to persuade him =P |
