Re: When I was a n00b to the internet...
I think I got started on the Internet when I was like 10...
We had an old Compaq with AOL, and for some reason I took a strong interest in the computer. Later I used to troll the AOL chat rooms thinking I was awesome... I played Runescape too... took me about a year-and-a-half to realize that it was a waste of time, lol. |

Re: When I was a n00b to the internet...
When I was a noob to the internet, I spammed the kids' chat rooms on AOL with a/s/l, and press 33333 if you like Pokemon. That was the extent of my conversations when I was 11.

I, too, blame online RP chat rooms for my proper spelling and grammar to this day (especially the fact that I can type with any kind of speed while maintaining said functions), though I don't often have cause to discuss it. |

I was still playing Oregon Trail, thought Yahoo chat was the best thing in the universe, never heard of Google, and no one knew what "1337" speak was ( very good days).

RuneScape was where I grew up too...
I still have my member account on that game.... $5/month wasted lol And I remember one rainy day in circa 2000 when I found my first GameBoy Emulator. I played Pokemon Red Version on the computer for like 8 hours straight, and I swear, it was orgasmic.
