ZP Theart wasn't exactly the best singer ever either.. I like this new guy's sound better anyway.

Okay guys, so Dragonforce aren't gold stars in the world of power metal, but as a power metal fan, I applaud them for getting PM noticed in the US for the first time in... 15-20 years?

Pretty sure any random guy on the street can do that.

But to hold it for 3 seconds with vibrato when ur almost out of breath from singing 2 other fairly high notes like in the OP video? *claps

They sometimes just rephrase the lyrics and play a different tune with it.
Like you'll hear the words moonlight, darkness, shining, fight, 'we carry on' in a lot of their songs lol.

If people haven't noticed, there's a reason why their songs are 5 minutes or more. It's more about the music. Who gives a damn about lyrics?

Although I am liking this new guy. Sucks ZP left, but unlike bands like Sonic Syndicate, this singer sounds like he can continue where DragonForce left off and make them just as good, if not better. Kind of like Scar Symmetry.

I have to agree with Mikey on this one. Their music is what they shoot to produce. The lyrics are good in some of their songs, though.

He may not have been the best singer ever, but he fit the voice for the tune DF was playing. That's enough needed.
