Re: When I Art...
Wow Xiv, these are great. My favorites are the close up ones, especially the snow, ice, and water shots. Would love to see more like them.
So just wondering, is it gonna like become a thing, which letter shall we end Xid's name with? No seriously, sorry Xix. I love your photos.

Re: When I Art...
haha thanks. I feel like for that one I am in 'Bugs Life' or something. I guess that was the inspiration?
(Whats this? I have inspiration for shots now?)

Re: When I Art...
I'm on Vacation right now in Pinecrest, California. Snapped a cool pick of my two friends Hannah and Connor when they were not looking. I liked how this one turned out.

Re: When I Art...
In that one of the dandelion, you have the perfect perspective. You make that dandelion look huge. Also, I never realized how much dead dandelion fluff looks like spiders webs.

Re: When I Art...
The only thing I want to point out : pay attention to the overall sharpness you want to give to your subjects in post-production.
For example : The fine details of the dandelion seeds have a thick outline. You can adjust this with Adobe Camera Raw or Lightroom (clarity slider) or in Photoshop (contrast slider in Shadow/Highlight I believe ?). A dandelion has a soft texture so, imo, I would try to aim for that. It really depends of the type of subject. A rocky-texture can be visually more interesting with a higher clarity such as this one : (what lens did you use btw ?) (oh and watch out about your copyright/name placement ) Other than that, you really have a good diversity in your pictures. Colours always strike the eye too.

To heal your picture, you could do this : Make a radial filter and reduce the amount of noise (or make a layer mask if you're working on Photoshop). Reducing the clarity and/or sharpness can help too. Here's the before and after comparison : And the final result : I don't like to work with works of others but I figure it could help.
