So it's finally come to an end...

I watched this episode with a friend, and we were awwwww'ing in sadness for several minutes when the ending song popped up... ;~;

This wasn't as strong an ending as I was expecting it to be, but it fits the "ordinary life" theme pretty well. Plus lots of references!

Farewell, Nichijou - it was truly a series I won't forget.

May there please be a second season or at least an OVA.... ;___;

lol i have a nichijou profile and I haven't even seen the last 10 episodes. Been too busy. How have they been? is it still completely random? with no storyline, but hilarious scenes?

A second season would be unlikely seeing as DVD volume sales are really lacking in Japan compared to the other anime titles from Spring and Summer season. If anything an OVA will probably be in the works. A second season would only be likely -if- DVD sales miraculously (and I mean miraculously) shoot up.

Either way, it was a nice entertaining, breather series. Would watch again to humour myself.

(refer back to ep. 3) Hakase ruins two birthday cakes! In the end, Nano learns that her friends will be her friends no matter what... (ep. 16) (You all noticed Nano's screw turning near the end, right? =P) Maybe it's my imagination running wild but Nano's birthday might be a pun - the 7th day of the month is "nanoka" in Japanese. 単純なバカがいる。 (There's a moron.)
