This thread was locked for advertising and spamming. You're advertising your myspace in not only a post of yours, but an entire thread you created. Put it in your sig. Which brings me to my next point...

HOLY HELL SHRINK YOUR SIG. You clearly didn't read the rules all that well if you think that's anywhere near acceptable.

Re: the spamming. Just because Chit Chat's forum description encompasses a wide range of topics doesn't mean "anything goes" here. If you want to chat, go to the FFR video chat, the profile chat, the MP chat, an AOL chat, or anything else; don't make a thread about it. By virtue of your being here you want to chat. We understand this. Chit Chat, however, is a forum for discussion, not a forum to say, "Hey, guys, go somewhere else to chat with me!"

Re: Double posting. Don't make me have to wade through pages of threads just because you're too lazy to press the edit button. One click is all it takes to go from breaking forum rules to a well-adjusted forumgoer. ESPECIALLY when your sig is that huge. You made a post with one single smiley. First of all, that's postwhoring. Secondly, that one smiley came with your WTFHUEG sig. The more often I saw it, the more angered I got. Seeing it back-to-back was just retarded and inexcusable. Sure, it's not the most critical rule we have on the forums, but it's still a rule and it exists for a reason. Don't multipost (and if you do want to, I'm sure gaiaonline would love you).

Second: madmatt: You are the LAST person who should be doling out advice on moderating. I know you CLAIMED to be a moderator here and at other large forums, but that neither means you are a mod nor have any standing here when it comes to following the rules. In fact, I've a mind to ban you for staff impersonation/disrespect for that pseudoimportant drivel you were spewing throughout this entire thread. Cut it out.

Third: justom. Stop listening to madmatt; he's a complete idiot. I don't know how the idea of trolling got into this, but you two kept throwing it around with great impunity. Also, cut the pseudo-moderator stuff out. I'll give you one reply with it, especially since you reported the thread, but you three filled this worthless thread up to three pages with your bickering, and having to read three pages of a worthless thread didn't make me happy.

Speaking of your reports, your first one was just plain laughable. Just report the thread for a violation and move along (much like you did with your second report).

Ah, and while I write this post up the reports keep coming in, BUT FROM THE SAME TWO PEOPLE. Report each post if there are completely separate infractions in each; if the entire thread is a problem, just report the OP once and it will be dealt with. I love that people report things, but seriously, reporting a post because a guy's asking about why double posting is bad isn't the way it's meant to be used.
