there's the rule that you can't be in 2 TWGs at once, i don't know if it applies to jTWGs.

Sometimes there are very rare exceptions. I think I've been in two at once due to a host needing a replacement if I recall right, but that's the only time. But that's probably the only way that happens.

it's stated in the rules that a player can't be in a jtwg and a twg at the same time. hence why i asked when it's starting. if you're dead in the j/twg you're in, if your host gives permission, you can be in the other one.

i think i'm remembering that right
