It is because Flash Flash Revolution is notorious for being difficult to successfully quit forever. For a daunting task like this, it is recommended to start with smaller goals and incrementally reaching harder milestones. To this end, I've been practicing quitting Flash Flash Revolution for increasing amount of time, starting with 1 millisecond and doubling the duration at each iteration. Quick calculation shows that only 42 iterations are required to quit Flash Flash Revolution for approximately 139 years, which is effectively forever for a single person.

So far I've completed the 28th iteration by quitting Flash Flash Revolution for about 3 days. aar
