Me neither. I did like the way it looked before one of the recent updates though. Wish the program had more options. I also wish they had an API so I could use skype through pidgin and unify it with the rest of the chats I use.

Voice Chatting on Skype imo is horrible and that's why I switched to Dolby Axon.

Unless you have an Expensive microphone setup, using voice is not worth

Oh my fucking god, the very first thing when I go to their site is a "demo" of the program and I can't help but find that everything that the guy is saying including whatever the video spews out is meant to be ironic.

not to mention anyone can resolve your skype name and acquire your IP in about 10 seconds using free public websites and the only information they need is your username

ive been ddos attacked a few times from this haha

but thank god skype allows for you is to make it so that only contacts can do this rather than just no one, thumbs up skype

Now to be fair, I haven't found anything that says he was the LEAD developer. Only that he was A developer or an engineer.

Not really in a position to have everyone in FFR switch over from Skype to some other program that we can all agree on - there are a ton of people that use Skype for Teams, Groups, Rivalries, Tournaments, and Competition tracking/communications. I am somewhat versed in how to use teamspeak & ventrilo. Never used mumble, and I'm pretty sure there are a couple of better open-sourced alternatives to what you provided that haven't been thought of yet.

also as a quick update: skype support still hasn't gotten back to me, from the message I sent in response to their 2nd message.

I will begin taking bets as to whether they will reach me by 10:00 the next morning. If they do not do so by then, they will have wasted 26 hours of my time that I could have been using talking on Skype, and then I would probably have valid reason to yell at them for not responding within their projected 24 hour time period that is required for them to even respond to a message.

all of these reasons are pretty saddening. Makes me wish that FFR never got itself involved with Skype for outside of FFR communications.

They forgot to add though to the list that their support team is remarkably horrendous.

12 hours is exceptionally short for a support response, most companies take 24-48 hours

They just responded, twice, that they updated the password, responded both by different people.

edit: holy shit they actually fixed my account. It only took them 3 whole days from start to finish.
