Was it under this username?

If so, did the file fall within permission constraints? Did you submit it to the proper e-mail? There are a number of reasons why your file might not have been judged.

Well the file was in the picture on page 298 of this thread for the batch so I know it was the right email. I made a thread on this subforum showing a youtube video of myself playing the song I submitted. It has (fatpaints) on the file and as proof I put in the description of the youtube video that I am the one who made the song and put ign: fatpaints on video itself as well. Maybe no judges saw that other thread...

(a.k.a. your file was judged, but was rejected from the batch)

basically, now's your chance to read up on the notes (maybe pm the judges if you're still cloudy on some of the notes they gave), and improve your file!

Okay thank you for that. I can clearly see that they all hate the crap out of the jumps I added. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad to finally see my bad scores @_@

Everyone starts really really bad. Hell, I am far from becoming a master at stepping. Took me 3 batches (6 songs) to get my first song in xD

This isn't the first song I've stepped actually, but I didn't really bother to get any good because I was self taught. Since I've never had any files judged before I had no idea what to expect.
Fun fact: My inspiration for making music originally came from ffr about 6 years ago and I made this song specifically for this batch. I also have a Xema 1 and 3 ^^...and probably made more than 400 other songs XD

I'm no expert, but if you want advice on some files I wouldn't mind giving you some critique. Feel free to pm them over to me and I'll take a look and give ya some advice.

You guys should've seen what songs I sent originally, lol. Amputee was such a cacophonous track.

Yay!

But it's not as if my first file ever has too much of a chance to get accepted, lol

Erm, how do I find out what my stepfile scored? I can't find July 2013 in the Batch Review Thread. If anyone can help me out, my song is "Reminscence".

I think you have to like, turn your volume up and put a lemon in your ass or something like that.

Probably hasn't been judged yet. This batch is still open and judging will begin soon. Just be patient!

Cross-posted from the front page.

Quote:
Hi guys.

I’ve been slowly making it known that I wanted the Official Tournament started sometime in August, but there’s one problem with that — FFR isn’t getting the volume of files that is necessary to sustain a 7-division tournament! In addition to needing a large amount of files, we also need files for precise difficulties. While I will not disclose what is precisely needed for the tournament, I will reiterate that easier files are certainly tougher to come by, and we definitely need them for the lower divisions.

I have an incentive for you all — I will reward ONE support token, or 25,000 credits if you have all three support tokens, for a NEW accepted file in a single judgment period (to be announced soon). In order to be eligible for this reward, your file must:

- be sent after July 14th. Because there will likely be a minimum of two judgment periods, you will have at least two opportunities to earn support tokens or credits after the current batch.

- be announced in this front page post. You have to post the name of the ONE file that you want to choose for this challenge, and label when it was sent. For example:

La Campanella [Nu-Rave] / Submitted: July 15th

- NOT be a resubmission of something in the last three batches. I will verify this.

- Do not attempt to submit under an alternate alias; you will be caught and eventually reprimanded.

Please note that you can send as many files as indicated by your Simfile Artist Points (if you don’t know what these are, please read the first post of the Queue/Batch Discussion Thread), but only the ONE file you post in this front page post will be eligible for the reward!
This challenge does not have a date of closure, yet. I will keep this updated with important details!

So if I'm understanding, users who have already used up their SAP can't do this?
