Bug (or something)
This happens to me too often; while playing it'll randomly lock inputs for a little while and then flood the inputs all at once when it comes back. Has this been documented already? Is there a solution to my dilemma? -No really; I have 18 minutes left to AAA this song lol. Last edited by FF_rules; 01-7-2015 at 11:43 PM.. |

Re: Bug (or something)
I have no idea what's causing the problem; the server, my computer, my keyboard, god? Who knows.
edit: Man 2 AAA's from D2, guess I have to hold that with that 3rd best now. Last edited by FF_rules; 01-8-2015 at 12:18 AM.. |

Re: Bug (or something)
I'd have to assume it's something on your end, as I've never had an issue like that.
Maybe you have your fps set too high and it's causing a lagspike or something? What's really odd is your graph. Despite it registering 13 misses and 8 boos it only shows one boo marker. Last edited by Red Blaster; 01-8-2015 at 12:32 AM.. |

Re: Bug (or something)
that sounds like a computer input lag spike issue, or straight up a keyboard delay issue.
I don't think it's actually part of the FFR engine. Last edited by gold stinger; 01-8-2015 at 02:47 AM.. |

Does internet connection have anything to do with these lag spikes? |

No, it wouldn't be the internet connection, the charts are loaded before you play them, it's not like the chart is "buffering" as you play it.

Re: Bug (or something)
that's your keyboard
my laptop keyboard does this a lot of the time, but thankfully not all the time, and it's basically got a mind of its own whether it wants to behave itself or not. when my keyboard chooses to hate me like that it makes even typing stuff like in a word document unnecessarily difficult, so that means it's definitely not ffr, just the keyboard. may not even be internet i don't really know of a way to fix this thing, but i do know it happens more often if i have a lot of processes running and/or i haven't shut down my laptop in a day or so. *shrugs shoulders* i did ask around on ffr once and the response was unanimously "get a usb keyboard, it's faster than fixing this". i don't care about playing ffr (or other computer games) enough to buy one, but of course it's your decision here.

Re: Bug (or something)
I assumed it was my keyboard but I made a thread when I saw myself overload keys and then spit them all out in one burst. For all I know it could also be a driver issue; but either way I need to replace this keyboard anyway.

Re: Bug (or something)
ah this happens to me too. when im playing, the game sometimes records my key taps late, so i'll get misses and boos.
