I think the half divisions came about more from a lack of D1 or D2 entrants, averaging out the field to 7 divisions with a realitively even number of players.

That's when I've decided to split anyways, I'm not sure about other hosts.

This is true, but ya got some decent scores that I could see being misinterpreted as D7 (4-0-0-1 Eclipse, 4-0-2-0 Ordeal, etc) but ye you are actually below me in terms of leaderboard haha.

Don't bump this man up.

EDIT: As a tournament host, I have only split divisions when players in division reach greater than 12, and the skill gap from the highest to least in the same division was too far for comfort. Other than that, half divisions aren't worth it.

updated to here. also raged, im not entirely sure if we should put you in D7. i mean, if you get bumped, then rushy, elite, dano and a bunch of other D6 pals would all have to get bumped up also. for now, imma leave you in D6, since that is what the leaderboards say, and we did state we would follow that to avoid confusion.

Once I was told by someone in staff "you only go up in divisions, not up and down". Maybe that's changed

8-0-3-4, which is 14-0-0-10 equivalent. 4-0-0-1 Eclipse and 4-0-2-0 Ordeal are other recognizable D7 scores; the rest is high D6 and borderline, imo. Either is fine and it is up to the host and player.

Lol, it should only barely matter, I haven't put serious effort into this game in over a year. I know rustiness is not a factor which tourney hosts should have to account for, but if I'm borderline I figured I'd let you know. If I start busting out scores I managed to get in 2013 I'll be more than pleasantly surprised.

So it seems like theres a bit of tension in divisions about placement and getting stomped and yada yada but like, theres not really anything we can do guys. Theres only 7 divisions with like 30 recognizable skill levels. Never the less, I am going to talk to Phil about consolation prizes, like maybe 10kish for participating until the final round.

Were you really going to distribute 1 million credits between the top 3 in each division? lmao those prizes would be ridiculous
