Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
Can I send a file with only one chart to see how it goes, then make a new chart later?

Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
I say that because people will send me stuff and never bother to poop a 2nd chart.
I'm not going to chase you down for it. If your file doesn't end up in the pack in the end, your fault for not following Da RuLeS unless I feel like a generous mother****er

Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
Usually pat is pretty flexible but idk maybe it's cause he gives special favors to some of the more known stepartists
If your one chart is good I doubt pat would refuse to include it [Edit] **** PAT WHY U NINJA ME

Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
Space Armada V2(BynaryFission)
Where you faded the song out seems like a good spot. Resend file with proper adjustments since the steps are still the exact same as the other file (?) Pending Love B.B.B. (Niko) Medium Acceptable. Yes Hard Fantastic file. Great layering and enjoyable overall. Yes Native Faith (Niko) This file is a king sized bag of skittles. A lot of effort put into syncing and stepping so I'll let this one slide into the pack. Yes We Cannot Get Out of Here Forever (Condoct) Oh wow, I actually wanted to step this song. You beat me to it x) Hard Acceptable. Yes Expert Personally, I'd've layered a lot of sections of the song differently (and more densely) but this is just me. Well layered, regardless of what I think. Some layering transitions between sections of the song were just a tad funky but overall not much of a problem when playing. Yes Dream a Dream (alloyus) Medium Less holds would've been better. Yes Hard - 8th jump layering in the beginning measures is strange as it's not super consistent nor is what you're layering prominent in sound. Personally, I don't think they're needed. - The holds are a bit long in length for the sounds they layer and could be trimmed in length. Not that much of an issue though, it gives the file a nice old-school feel and style to it. - Overall, layering is acceptable considering the song choice. Very old-school themed but as a result fairly uninteresting and boring compared to all the other files I've received. I'll think about this one. Pending on the submissions are will determine whether I let this slide. Maybe SIN (Don) for ****s sake stop stepping this song sdfhsdkf A whole different layering approach which contrasts with Poopet's classic SIN file and the one Yume did from the previous pack. I like it. Make an easier chart. Pending Brand X (MrTea) Easier charts All acceptable. Yes Hard Well layered, easy-to-follow, and straightforward. No real commentary. Yes Szycag (MrTea) Easier charts All acceptable. Yes Hard It's been a long time since I last saw a marathon Venetian Snares file, rofl. Well layered, easy-to-follow, and straightforward. No real commentary. Props for doing easier charts for a file this long. Carnage! (Rog) Medium This chart doesn't really seem needed. There's like no difference between this and heavy aside from holds. My call: scrap this chart. Hard Acceptable. Yes Expert Been a long time since I last saw an xmod live file. This is cool. Yes Contact (Charlo) Medium Could be simplified even further. Hard - Not bad at all. My issue is that you're recycling the same patterns over and over again, which gets boring and uninteresting the longer the file drags on. - Very old-school styled. As a result though, there's very little layering variation to keep this much more interesting to play through, especially when you stepped pretty much the whole song. - Holds are long in length and can be trimmed shorter. As an old-school themed file though, you can get away with this so it's not much of an issue. - Overall, it's the length factor of the file that's making me debate about this. I can't see many people other than the really old-school metal head dudes (prior to RaiNBoW guitar solos when everything was stepped static) that'd find this enjoyable to sit through. If it was stepped for half the length than what you have, it'd be acceptable. As it stands, I'll have to think about this one. Pending on the other submissions I receive will most likely determine whether I'll let this slide into the pack. Maybe VS. Satan (Kommisar & Don) Hard Sick. Yes Expert Sick. Yes The Disco Rangers Bus Knows How To Rock N' Roll (eastsideman09) Medium Acceptable. Yes Hard Xmods made this so much more enjoyable to play through, haha. No real commentary, well layered and groovy. Yes Vocaloid in D (Mina) I didn't expect this song choice coming from you, lmao. Beginner Could've been simplified more but given that the other chart is more or less for scoring, I'll let this slide. Yes Medium Hard pain jacks. No real commentary. Well layered, playable for scoring, and weeaboo appeal. Yes Sacred Campaign (Kaneh) Medium Acceptable. Yes Hard No real commentary. Short and sweet. Layered as much as you could to make it interesting without turning it into a dump. Yes Philosophyz (Niko) Medium Acceptable. Yes Hard I've had way too much of an influence on you, rofl. There's not many sections I would've done different in this. This is stepped as closely to my style as possible, congrats you're the only one to do this well enough, rofl. Comments aside, file's great. Yes Rog-limitation (AlexDest & Bynary Fission) Beginner Thoroughly layered but still playable which is neat. Expected the stream sections to actually be even more thoroughly layered than what you have, rofl. Yes Hard Very cool. No real commentary. Yes 36 files in queue. This will probably be a big pack, rofl. GFX duders, check first post. There's a huge list of files that need pretty pictures. Will have YouTube section up in a bit :>

Re: FFR Community Pack Spring 2012 (Submissions Open)
@Midigami: You ****ed up the naming/tagging for your "Tenshi no Hashigo" file. The song is actually Awakening, to a World Protected. Changed the file name for you.
Check the first post for "Songs in Need of GFX" section: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...04&postcount=1

I actually don't like them either I thought they should be there so that the difficulty is more consistent.
