I must say, the level spike after the elite four was disconcerting.

It is but not that bad if you have the proper lvls and movesets. as long as you actually raised an even team instead of a soloer you should be fine. also a good training method is to hunt audinos near route 11 since theyre around the 46-50 range and give around 4800+ exp with a lucky egg equipped.

I also got my Celebi when I picked up White on release day. The only problem is I don't know where to go to transfer pokemon from my Platinum to my White version.

I've been working on my party, but I gotta do some transferring from other games to get what I want. I need a cacturne for ferrothorn spikes and a TTar with rocks. I don't like that there's no spikes/SR TMs in this game. Been doing a ****ton of breeding the past few days. >_> Hatching Drilburs right now lmfao

It's more effective to train while holding an exp. share rather than a lucky egg. Get 2x exp rather than 1.5x when battling, as well as getting exp when someone else battles.

I thought it was fairly amusing how EVERYONE has pokemon from level 60-68 after beating the elite 4 the first time. Now my in game party is about that level. Haven't battled the elite 4 again yet, no rush to do that lol. I'd rather do my EV training on these newly hatched pokemon than train the pokemon I'm gonna end up leaving in my PC anyway.

I've been waiting for my girlfriend to have a head start, since in Soul Silver I've beaten most of it (the Elite 4 twice) before she has even left Kanto.
Thanks for reminding me though! I should at least start the game enough to get the liberty pass before the event is over. North-America has until April 10th I think? Annnnd I think I've seen it mentioned that Europe has until April 22nd, though I could be wrong about the dates?!?
