Working on fixing that, sorry! (The graph on W3 should be basically fine though) EDIT: AHEM, let me run that for you. Your Z-Score Scaled is 70.14

Re: New Skill Analysis Metric (Trial Phase)
Sorry, just got out of bed a bit ago.

Also, I added the seven most recent files to the spreadsheet and updated the file, so you won't get #N/A on those. Still working out some other changes, but those were ones to fix right away. EDIT: Fixed a few other things, like the formula for Levels!L:L and cleaning up some other formulas related to that, and the Av. NGC thing on the right had some wrong stuff in it. I added columns K and L so you can actually see the divisors for all the different methods in Results(NGC). (Helped with double-checking other formulas.) Re: New Skill Analysis Metric (Trial Phase)
Starting Now We Are Calling For Volunteers!
If you have Excel, or can use some alternative program to open the file on the original post, we need you! (Note: OpenOffice doesn't work) Please reply to this thread, and you will be PM'd (by me or Silvuh) a link to the public Google Spreadsheet. (Doing it this way will minimize griefing) You will be assigned a division of the Tenth Official Tournament in which you are to begin "running the numbers" on each of the participants, either starting from the top of the list, or the bottom of the list (we'll tell you). Make sure you've downloaded the LATEST version of zenith-score.xlsx and tried pasting in levelranks so you know how it works! On the Google Spreadsheet it says the following in case you forget: HOW TO GET THE ZENITH SCORES: Go to each player's level ranks page and copy the whole table, including the column titles (in Firefox, it's some kind of Ctrl+Shift with clicking and dragging from just outside the table). Paste it into B1 of Sheet1. Go into Sheet2 and copy the five values under "Z-Score", AND go to Sheet3 and copy the one value under "Total Raw/Max" You should paste them under the username of the player that they are for. The current list of volunteer assignments can be viewed on the OP, and on the spreadsheet.

Re: New Skill Analysis Metric (Trial Phase)
No longer looking for volunteers!
Divisions 1-7 are done. Special thanks to our volunteers, listed on the OP.

Re: New Skill Analysis Metric (Trial Phase)
A total of 447 participants in the tenth official have all had their levelranks examined by our spreadsheet, and this is the result. We have found that W4 is the most accurate overall method, although each of the weighting methods may be more accurate in a particular division. You can see the raw data for each division through the link on the OP.

Re: New Skill Analysis Metric (Trial Phase)
This has always interested me so I'd like to bump this and also say that the scale by average picture isn't working in the op

I used photobucket... sometimes it does dumb things. Quote:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing If you look there you can see all of the stats we gathered for the tournament, including the highest-scored person in D2 -- that person being andy-o24. I would post his graphs, because it seems that's what you're asking for, but I just switched computers and I don't have Excel yet. The masterpiece of a spreadsheet we use (so you could paste in the levelranks) is completely "open-source". It's linked on the OP. Thank you for the bumps both of you. I'm always eagerly awaiting more comments and input.

Re: New Skill Analysis Metric (Trial Phase)
it would be nice if it was done with every active FFR user, haha. i tried doing it with cURL but i didn't know how to use it to login ¯w¯;;
would be cool to establish a top "FFR power ranking" including dossar and all the other d7s that didnt enter the tournament this year. maybe updating every few weeks as people go up and down the ranks? |

EDIT: I should point out, also on the Trello board is a suggestion to make available an API for people to access player stats without being logged in.

Re: New Skill Analysis Metric (Trial Phase)
yeah! it feels really intuitive haha... the score from 0 to 100 feels just enough like levels to make it feel like a real rpg experience
