Re: FFR Perfect Project
Totally my fault guys -- sorry. Just need to upload videos to "TheFFRPerfectProject" and not "FFRPerfectProject" which I just closed.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
This sounds like an amazing idea, actually. However, I have to poke a hole in this project:
As with all videos, you guys have to make sure that a play-through is legit. Among other things, this means no trainers. We want to show off the songs and the skill of the people playing them, not their ability to set up something to nail it for them (my brother has repeatedly suggested that I build a robot instead of mashing the hell out of my keys myself). Also, for those of you reserving token songs: DO NOT GIVE AWAY THE TOKEN'S LOCATION. (Unrelated: Why is it that one of the skill tokens is dependent upon your performance on a token song?) Also, note that some songs (vROFL in particular with its 0-framers) are pretty much impossible to get a perfect score on due to the limitations of the game engine. In addition, support token songs are only available to those that support the site with money. I don't see why you wouldn't include them if only as teasers for would-be subscribers, but it's something to keep in mind. |

Re: FFR Perfect Project
I suppose that after 6 years I should be used to this sort of condescension from a superior intellect around these parts. *sigh*
I just got over a cold, and my division's last song in the Welcome Back tourney is a royal pain in the ass. At least Dragon's Fury was kind enough to only give me one or two trouble spots with regard to going for the full combo. Hero's Theme, on the other hand, takes great pleasure in giving me random misses in the first half and goods all over the place in the second. Cut me some ****ing slack. |

If this quality is okay, this is about what my camera gets....
Old video but figured I'd show it's quality, to see if it is acceptable.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
This sounds like a pretty sweet idea! I have a decent camera and could definitely send some videos in!
I'll probably record a couple either tonight or tomorrow, and noticed the following songs haven't been requested so I'll do them: 1) Pwntendo 2) Token Whore Probably will do more for sure, possibly might just leave my camera on when I go for my daily round of remaining AAA's. As for now though, this will get me set up and allow me to figure out the best position for my camera and everything. Might even be able to get my 6' tripod back by tomorrow for maximum visuals on my screen. EDIT: How do you feel about title cards and / or effects before the song? Just want to know if they are acceptable because I will gladly make a nice title layout for any of the videos I send in with Vegas. It would most likely be 5 seconds or less as far as length goes.

Oh my god what an ambitious project. If I get good again, I'd love to help.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
It's supposed to be all AAA's, I highly doubt I'll get the AAA on camera, or at least not without quite a bit of tries and annoyance which I DON'T want to go through again. I'm doing songs I KNOW I will be able to AAA probably first try with minimal trouble to avoid that. Plus, it isn't like that is my only FMO AAA anyway so I'm kind of surprised people think I hacked the score. I'll probably eventually play a couple FMO's on camera...if I AAA them, I'll send them to the project. Don't want to say I'm going to AAA something and keep getting a low SDG, kind of stupid.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
It would be, I'll give it a shot when I'm having a really good day on camera, but I can't give you any promises.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
Based on some of your other scores you should be able to get the AAA again. :P

Re: FFR Perfect Project
I just watched the video, the camera quality isn't terrible, but it could be better.
I would probably accept it, the arrows were a bit blurry but I could tell what was going on for the most part. If you can get your camera to output any better quality then I would suggest giving that a shot for any future videos, but it's good enough for me.
