Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Szerencsetlen feels like choprite, there are even some FMO's that are easier than Sz.
And I think jimerax said he even thought about xeno as a low fmo. But I don't know.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Seriously MT streams aren't awkward, and they're really easy to read. As for Garyuutensei, it shouldn't be a low FMO, it's really easy too.

Xeno-Flow came out as an FMO iirc, but was immediately changed to a VC. It was changed for good reason.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Silence, lw4, nwe, probably some others feel easier for me because they don't have random 24th's 32nd's. But it's just my opinion.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Garyuutensei does provide one hell of a challenge for VC; that long, speedy run around the mid-point of the song with JS is pretty tough to hit if you aren't used to seeing it. Of course, after playing it a bunch of times, yeah--it may seem to be a VC to most.
Hmm--more songs. (again--I just joined this thread, 'cuse me. ) One song that I think should be re-rated is Big Blue--I mean, there are only 4 AAAs on the song, it's fast, really technical, and requires a ridiculous amount of stamina just to FA properly, or FC (coming from me though, my hands are a bit blah--my hands get weak after playing BB twice, maybe three times.) None Would Escape? It's debatable as to it being a VC, it IS noticeably easier than the other FMOs; on the other hand, it is a bit longer too. Silence: leave as an FMO. The song is a bit off-sync, and it is an all blue-arrow song too, so it does require some extra abilities to be good at it. And why does everyone say the MT streams are awkward? I've never had a problem with them myself... GOSW shouldn't be FMO in my opinion (but then again, I was the first person to AAA it ), there's really nothing particularly hard in the song other than the trills, and there are other songs that have trills present that many times. (ARGUE BACK--it's FUN) |

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Completely agree with you about Big blue, also what about PE gymnastics, it's way too hard for and FMO, I can constantly FC most of the FGO's, I've only FC'd PE 3-4 times D: , sorry if I suck lol.

Hard to combo, easy to PA. A high FMO IMO.

K PE Gym is the HIGHEST FMO. So it's pretty much a FGO, no point in changing that.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I still think Xeno-Flow is harder than several current 11's, like NWE and LWIV.
I don't really think LWIV is an 11 anymore. BB is fine as 11, it's just a really awkward file, but once you're used to it it's not as bad as any of the 12's general-difficulty wise.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
The only problem here is the HUGE difference between low and high FMO's, almost every VC feels the same, almost every FGO feels the same, but FMO's range is... just... wrong -_-;

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
The difficulty distribution for FGO is very uneven. Death Piano and Eclipse (Solar) are outliers from the standpoint of most players.
The difficulty distribution for FMO is very even. There are as many easy FMOs as there are hard FMOs. Which is why it should be split.

I'd definitely agree with S0ul in that it is really easy to PA, almost all the time I play it I get just by the SDG mark, even without the FC. Quote:

LI is ok with 8, since I could read it with 1x non-screencut fairly well but couldn't read CIA or Uber Rave very well, which are 9s. jacks aren't big problem anymore, offsyncness and background still matter though.
As I said NWE would be ok with VC, LW4 is border. Just more opinions. also dropped MegaScorcher and AM-3P by one difficulty. |

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I really don't think Agenda X should be standard, it should be tricky or maybe even low difficult.
I mean like, a standard with a 32nd roll? Come on.

I think that's standard and it has two (or 3) 32nd rolls.

I was meaning to post what Blue said for a long time, just never got around to it. I think Agenda X is rated a 5 because of it's very low BPM (though Zodiac is comparatively slow as well). However, I agree, the 32nd rolls and the 32nd -^-- --v- <--> pattern all warrant a difficulty of 6, not 5, IMO. ~Bynary Fission
