Ok, holy jizz balls are the new songs fun!
First, I played Xeno-flow today, since everyone was saying it could be FMO, I wondered how hard it was, it is NOTHING compared to Border of Maximum, which IMO, is harder than 300 300 is DEFINITELY VC, no way around it, pulled 5-0-0-0 on that shiz sightread, only problem is the speed near the end, which really isn't that bad, if you can hit the 16th jumps, you're fine, the jacks are easy, and it is in no way an FMO, Border of Maximum, with it's long runningmen, annoying on off 16th gallop jumps followed by 1 handed trills, is by far harder than 300 and Xeno-flow, I think they should all be VC, but if anything gets FMO (which none should), it would be Border of Maximum, honestly, Sonata Quasi Una Fantasia without that trill would be easier And I will be AAA'ing 300 and Border of Maximum tomorrow so I have them knocked off, I'm tired today, good night everyone! |

I AAAed Border to Maximum within a few tries, I haven't AAAed 300, 300 is harder to read at the end.
300 seems to be really easy for an FMO, but when you're going for the AAA is really annoying -_-; So, IMO 300 > Border

Border of Maximum is so easy. If you don't have finger lock like I do, that left bias running men is nothing. Everything else is easy, sightread AAAd every other portion with the music. Xeno-Flow is much harder, took me more time to AAA because of its length and variance, and the end pattern. (I'm also used to the RF Border of Maximum, which is 2x harder.)
300 is easy to sdg, but it takes persistent effort to AAA. As Waffl3 said somewhere, sdg is np, but AAA takes some time. It was unfortunate that the end wasn't a stream, but robertsona couldn't've done anything about that with the avmiss still in place. 300 is borderline level, like GoSW. EDIT: ninja'd, basically what Hecto said.

yup. 300 really isn't that hard to FC or even get decent PA on... but in terms of getting under 5-6 goods... it's REALLY hard. which makes it FMO.

For 300, it's like what most others here said, but I'll just emphasize how difficult it is reading the last few jumpbursts. In between those, FC'ing and even PA'ing isn't really hard (since the patterns are pretty basic), but when those bursts come, the jumps are very close together, which might cause problems for some people when going for the AAA.

Those steps for 300 gets closer at like around 230 or something. Which I keep trying to FC but fail at like 700 combo. Those jumpbursts are very hard to get through an AAA or FC.

I take back what I said. I havn't been able to AAA because of the jumps and jacks as the speed increases. Definately low FMO... for now.

I had no trouble getting an almost SDG on 300 (something like 14, 13 goods? i forget) but PAing the ending is very hard. I still don't think it's an FMO just because the hard part is only like for 15 seconds. It's too whorable to be FMO >_<

When did Balloon Fever become a VC? I think it should still be a low FMO, it's nowhere near the difficulty of most vcs. I think it should be bumped back up to a 76, into fmo.

i'd also like to hear opinions about moving Lethal Injection to a 9. It's probably an 8 still in terms of the stepfile itself.... but with the lack of a noteskin, the impossible to read white background, being offsync, and the trill in the middle (plus 2 mini-jacks)... it seems acceptable to me that it should be a 9 and not an 8.
also, given how few users have AAAd it or even SDGd it would further prove the point.

yeah, I wouldn't oppose it as a 9.
if the background is really distracting IMO it should be taken into account, like with P4U...which is definitely a 9 with no background, but much harder with it.
