"Alright everyone, the time has come to execute our attack," Red Blaster began, "4, you're with me. We attack from the West."

YoshL nodded.

"2, you and 10 attack from the next entrance in the Northwest corner."
Red pointed to a yellow marker on the holofile spread out in front of all of Flash Squadron. cry4eternity and reuben_tate both voiced acknowledgement.

"9, you, 3, and 6 will attack from the flank."
storn42 tilted his head slightly in acknowledgement while j-rodd123, and tiloco217 fired off quick salutes.

"As for 5, 7, 8, and 13, you're all going to sneak in through the gardens to the south," Red Blaster drew a line through the dark green section that covered a good chunk of the bottom portion of the map.
"Once you're in, disable the security sensors and open the doors so that we can start getting in. We meet in the kitchen."

Funnygurl555 cracked a grin as she asked, "the kitchen, any particular reason why?"

"Because survival rations suck?" danceflashrevo chimed in.

"I say Cold Kitten makes us some of her sweet treats while we're holed up and waiting," Charles chuckled.

"If you keep this up, you'll be the last in line for food," snapped Red Blaster, "now move out! Keep comm chatter minimal, unless you need backup. One of the garden party will split and find you."

What had seemed like a day passed with the squadron still sneaking about getting into position.

"Man, I sure hope we get some action soon," mumbled YoshL.

"Hush. We don't need any more trouble than we can hand-" Red trailed off as his comm started filling with chatter:

"They knew!" came the cry, "they expected us! I don't know how, but they knew we were coming!"

Laser blasts cut in after every couple of words.

"Where are you?! Do you need help?!" Red yelled.

"We do, but don't come! There's too ma-- AAAARGH!"

Static erupted over the comm-line.

"5? 5! Are you there?!"

"Lead!"

"Report, 13."

" 5's down... There were too many stormies around..."

"Well where are you?"

" 5 went on ahead and we were to tail him... We're hiding amongst the foliage in the gardens until we can make our way out."

"Make your way back to the base... We'll regroup from there."
Red looked grim as he shut his comm off...

Minor correction: I misread Macho seer as Mecha seer. Mecha seer isn't a thing, Macho Seer is correct.

Red Blaster sighed.
Who knew that leading a ragtag group of aces would turn out so... badly.

"What seems to be the issue?" General Cracken's voice came through the speaker of the comlink.

"Sir... we've been infiltrated."

"Infiltrated?"

"By Imps. They murdered Jteh last night.. The stormies guarding the bacta treatment plant knew we were coming. We've been compromised."

"Yes... I was aware. I was hoping your crew could weed them out."

"Wait... you knew?!"

"Yes. I figured that allowing them to infiltrate your squadron would allow them to come to light so they could be tried for treason and potentially be used for a leak."

"Sir I..." Red was cut off by voices.

"What's the issue?" Cracken's voice sounded concerned.

"I don't know I-"

"Lead! We've got a problem!" Cold Kitten yelled frantically.

"What is it..?"

"It's..."

Red Blaster didn't wait for the answer.

He strode over to the other tent and what awaited him was a body.

A body with a blaster bolt shot straight between the eyes...

A cauterized hole, and a stench of burning flesh were the only signs of what had happened, but it was enough to leave the rest of Flash Squadron feeling even more uneasy...

Funnygurl555 has been murdered.
She was a Medic.

with nobody having anything else to say right now im going to get my vote on rueben_tate there were some votes on him earlier and i might as well make my vote productive. i have nothing on him saying he's human (though not much saying hes not) and i want to atleast contribute something incase people decide to mass vote him. I was thinking of voting for Funny but i have reasonable suspicion that she's not a wolf and she'll probably just be killed this round anyways. I know she's not a normal human and it would be regrettable if we killed a human special.
