Re: ITG/DDR Scores
This thread is pretty goddamn intimidating lol. I just started playing pad again after many years and I got to play on someone's dedicab here in Madison two weeks ago (it was AWESOME!) - my scores improved stupidly within the 2 hours that I was playing. I don't have any pictures or screenshots b/c the people I was playing with were much better than me and I didn't feel like my scores were worthy of screening, but
The two notable scores I remember are: 94.xx% on Mythology expert (it was something like 112 excellents, 12 greats, and 3 misses.) and 95.69% on charlene expert. Having a bar helps soo much (when I play at home I'm just using home versions w/ my omega precision pad) |

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Use a sturdy chair as a bar when using an Omega. Or make your own. A lot of people on the DDR/ITG players facebook group have done it with varying levels of success.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Hey if you want to, there are two builds for making a base with a bar for omega pads here (mine) and here (wafles)
Otherwise, shit dog, I haven't beat Charlene yet. You're already doing better than one of us

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
After not playing pad for half a year I tried again for the first time and got some nice results. All nobar.
Passed Valedict Medium from Crossover Spectrum II. Got an AA on Paranoia Respect Heavy after several failed attempts, mostly from locking up at the end. The version of Staiain's theme I have for 3.95 doesn't seem to display letter grades properly. Other paranoia respect attempts close to an AA in spoiler: Valedict Paranoia Respect

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Reposting to bump thread a bit:
2nd session, from Friday -- seems to be coming back kinda quickly: ========== warmed up a bit differently today and it seemed to work generally well for me; my stamina is still a long way from being where it should be, but I actually did a few notable (for me) things given how long it had been since playing and given that I'm about 40 pounds more than when I last played... 3rd session, from today -- accuracy is still reasonably intact: a few non-screenshots but notables: - FEC'd Tanglang (13) about 50% in before my legs hit the shitter and I had to stop, hahaha - held a quad on Sunshine (10) from ITG2 about 40% in before getting a great and quitting, nice job dumbass - held a quad on Call of the Shadows (11) from Mungyodance 2 before STUPID FUCKING QUAD HOLDS WHAT THE FUCK RENARD YOU ASSHOLE - starred my Shatter Me (12) chart; could do better plan on playing again tonight, might try for one of my two short term goals and see if I can pass Black Lair from Cirque du Zeppelin, since stamina is my current focus when I'm not trying to FA things ========== 4th session, today: 2nd day -- Calamity Fortune: 77% -> 15 measures of stream at 200, a few other things spread out afterward 4th day -- Destination of the Heart: 90.54 -> 17 measures of stream at 200 those gains! - broke quad on Riders, Unite! (10) at 85%, but I'm not mad because I already quadded it three years ago lol - survived the intro streams of Queen of Bootlegs (16), quit immediately after because fuck lmfao - failed Black Lair (13) on the 6 of the last 16-6, wanted to cry but it's ok because I'm gonna pass it soon - made it through two of the choruses in Problem (Sexuality Violation 3) Expert (15+), lost in the bridge -> 206 BPM streams, 8 measures a piece I'll be adding Pendulum/Crossover Spectrum/Sharpnelstreamz to push even harder, now. Nathan: that Orbital Strike, holy shit man O_O
So, there's been some noticeable improvement on multiple fronts for me over the past few days, which is good. Second expert quad! 4 is nice... but 2 is nicer. I get this feeling that Spinner (Hard) is going to be my third/next quad. FEC, finally... 99 soon. This was stupid good; getting this on any 8 is really not bad, but getting this on an 8 that is chock full of mods is pretty ridiculous, haha. My own file -- previous best was like 12, I think. Potentially my fourth quad -- most of the 6 were in a single spot. good whoa, uh? LMFAO OK treading into harder stuff, but man this has a shitton of stream. Made it to the end of the fifth 14-measure 16th run before giving out. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 05-25-2015 at 11:02 PM.. |

Hold Your Color Bipolar is listed as a 14.6 in the Pendulum Thread. You're facing a pretty hard 14.
So yesterday I got some pretty good crossover nobar passes. I think it's safe to say I'll just be doing nobar all the time until I actually can use something that doesn't ruin my posture when playing (and getting my legs moving is more important). Can't do 8th jacks on this pad. Failed with 67.6% the previous run, that ending is really hard. I sound like I'm going to puke in the video for this. Basically Outer Limits at 110 BPM. Voyage 1969 Rhythm and Police 1.5 Exotic Ethnic 1.5 (From 5/28) Incoming horrendous-looking scores from trying to improve my speed and stamina 32 straight measures of simple 155 BPM 16th stream. This was pretty painful, but prepared me a little better for Black Lair. My god 170 feels ridiculously fast after playing 155 I attempted this file several times and passed the 16 measure stream in the middle each time, but failed in the 6 measure stream after. I don't quite have the stamina to maintain this yet, but I'm close.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Today EtienneSM got through the first 16 measures of Oh Delia and he passed Zanzibar Green 1.2 from 170 BPM Eternal (24/16, totaling 40 measures of 204).

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
I haven't posted in here in a long time, mainly since I didn't really play much this last semester due to my thesis project. Here's something from the last time I played. Pretty easy 11, but I'm happy with my accuracy here (except that miss which was my fault). Btw, this is using StomperZ if FFR people have caught wind of it. I didn't really know what it was at the time.
