thanks for the subs guys, right as I started to get back into things.

As for gfx, I think I was imagining more of a colorful landscape for the pack, for dumb reasons i.e. bursts are usually multicolored rather than the usual red/yellow/blue fare that you see in files. Fives and Boulafacet look cool as fuck, and I'll take those though

thanks for the good chuckle, that was a quality chart

however, definitely not really what i'm looking for in the pack - i think the 24th sections are a bit too approximated (at first glance) for the accuracy that i think i'm looking for in this pack

if you look at boat 1, (other than like, smiling) the files in there are pretty close to stuff i'm looking for, with of course, deviance allowed from that formula (since that's just how i step things)

Well..... because i've never cut a song before, and i felt it might have been more of what you were looking for. I made a second cut though. still quite lengthy but its got the solo stuff.

i guess, to be more specific, the file was very samey and felt like it repeated itself many times, in a way that wasn't really conducive to being charted interestingly. The solo was one of the few partss that felt like it was actually alive, and like, the player doesn't fall into a "welp this has been going on for like 3 minutes already when is this file going to end" type of deal. For longer files especially, unless they have large variance in both music and chart, i feel like, they're better being cut down massively, or not stepped at all

received crow solace (wh1teh) and black lotus(junior8858), will try to get to those sometime today

probably going to use a google document for organization because updating op sucks

(1 more week til submissions close, and only 4 days til groundbreaking 2016 comes out fuck everything)

quick feedback, i'll have general comments for black lotus and lapiz lazuli later tonight, don't think they'll make the cut

crow solace will be a weird conditional thing, where technicality needs to be fixed up a bunch, then after that happens, i'll have to go back and actually comment on patterning since i think a lot can break with the changes that it needs to become accurate

i'm also hating myself because groundbreaking 2016 just was released and everything is goddamn steppable and i don't want the deadline to be in like 4 days (legit thinking of extending for just this fucking album)
most likely, it'll be constant rolling submissions, but the longer you wait (a.k.a. the more the pack becomes "finished" - in a spreadsheet that i'll start maintaining, the less chance you'll have to get in?)

Put it off til March and the soundtracks for Beatmania Sinobuz and Crossbeats Rev. will be out. Keep this up and the pack'll never be released. :V

I was gonna step this for the pack, but I'm unsure if I could do it justice. I'll just step some Reizoko Cj. Also, I have the gfx for Arapajita done, there's just stuck on a jump drive that's missing.

super hard to playtest atm because of bad wrist injury, no concrete notes atm.

crow solace Wh1teh - probably will have a couple pattern suggestions, otherwise should be good
MUDPIE Chezzy - pattern change requests because of some difficulty spikes that feel too unfair
curse of filth blitZ - i need to wait to play this - not too sure how the longer 32nds will feel actually playing, otherwise, there's a bunch of clean up that's needed for this file
NRG sunn0glasses - super on the fence, just because of the duration of the 32nds. Will basically ride on how a playtest feels

a lot of stuff rides on how soon my wrist feels better lol

NRG, crow solace, curse of filth, mudpie, nightmare of hornets, and gene disruption have notes

also if you have like a stepartist one liner that you want to put in the release thread about your file, drop it to me via. whatever (discord, pm, in thread, email, w/e)
