Re: ODIPack3 submissions (May 18th deadline!)
Just for clarification -- I know the thread says May 18th, but there was discussion about the pack closing on the 10th somewhere (either Skype chat or here, can't quite remember). Which date is the deadline?

Re: ODIPack3 submissions (May 18th deadline!)
may 18th still. i dunno what that might've been about but if i were to change it i would definitely update the thread. but it's not gonna be earlier than may 18th (i don't plan on closing it later either)
looking forward to a file from you =)

^ ^ ^
Original is 6:19. That's not too bad for a cut, but I can make you one if GLoVE wants the file to be shorter.

Re: ODIPack3 submissions (May 18th deadline!)
stepping cradle of filth what da hell. that would be really cool if you managed to make a good file of since it's not exactly generic stepmania music lol. i think it would be hard but could surely be done. but get to making that easier difficulty for gravestoned first and it's basically autoaccepted =)
reviews. might have missed some submissions/revisions that aren't listed here because i formatted my computer earlier this week (copied everything from odi3 obviously but). please let me know if your file has not been reviewed or is accepted and not on the list black dragon it got a bit repetetive and didn't have that much interesting to offer. the reoccuring part with the minijacks is a lot harder than everything else and comes in pretty annoying pattern. you should focus on making your file challenging in different ways, especially when it's a long song like this. the streams are all fairly easy and kind of fun but nothing else ever really happens except for that annoying minijack part that comes back a lot. you chose a song that couldn't really be made into a good simfile though captain murasas ass anchor (revision) well you made a few changed but some of the most important ones were done wrong, i still feel like this could be a lot better. guile of the rime king cool file it has a great flow. great patterns, accurately done and fun for scoring. accepted mariostep (revision) it's very cool now, very fun for scoring! the 12ths and 24th jacks in the beginning has to be done differently though, especially the very first section had really terrible patterns :P. and i don't think any of the 24ths should be jacks, just place the arrow in the middle of the 3 of them on another arrow. would likely accept this after another revision polssia 33 (revision) accepted power power power bam bam bam i know it's a dodgeball jokefile but i didn't like this at all and didn't find it too funny =P string quartet no.8 in c-op.110 mov.2 it got a bit old with the continous minijackstream pretty much going on throughout the entire file. the few different sections were very short didn't provide enough variation. not a bad file but it's not that much fun to just hit endless 16ths to that violin unpause the heat pretty fun but some color note stuff was missed, since you are stepping the short color note thingy.s leading into a lot of the melody's notes, then you should do all of them and there are some left out (obvious when playing). the last freeze-part is cool and the more challenging part in the beginning is cool but in the rest i think you should possibly look at making a harder difficulty and see if you can make it a bit more challenging yellow calx it was kind of cool in the beginning but then two different parts are both copy-pasted and mirrored at least once and then the file is over. i was like ?_?. it definitely is not interesting enough and not very fun to score on when it's the same exact thing reoccuring like that and then nothing else, these parts are also very short so i'm surprised you were too lazy to at least just change up the patterns

Re: ODIPack3 submissions (May 18th deadline!)
Honestly the two files you rejected from me where only made in an hour and a half total so I'm not surprised you didn't like them lmao
I have a new file in the works and it is turning out very well so look out!!!

Re: ODIPack3 submissions (May 18th deadline!)
When I was sending String Quartet I actually wanted to put "the file isn't that great, but the music makes up for it" (or something along those lines) in the email.
On the other hand, classical music pack anyone?
