Info: Just started playing both IaMP and SWR. Never even played IaMP online. Can't claim a character to be my main, as I'm still messing around with all of them. Particular to Sakuya, Reisen, and Komachi, though.

Chidori. Buy a new router. If you use an all-in-one as a wireless router, it won't get you anywhere.

Go buy two things: a modem and a router separated. I use a D-Link router and a motorola modem.

it's necessary to split your modem/router to get optimal speed. besides, latency for wireless is usually caused by a terrible router. i bet your internet runs slow in general, below 54MBps

tanarus: get a different IM system too.

Latency issues solved.

Testing latency is done by looking at your delay time in CowCaster.
Do this for both Hamachi and nonHamachi IP addresses (find two DHCPIPaddress files).

EDIT: Xiao, did we play an odd number of matches? =_=

EDIT2: WTF am I doing at 4AM in the morning when there are no Japanese people to talk to?

Everyone: Tell me more about how good you are as a player, how long you've been playing, if you can help people get better, etc. I think people would be more interested in fighting certain level people.

IaMP: Downloading right now, going to start playing, but no main selected yet
SWR Main: Suika
SWR Secondaries: Sakuya, Marisa, maybe Patchy later if I can find a better strategy than just spamming fireballs. Can play Youmu almost as well as Suika, but who CAN'T play Youmu well in SWR?
Skill level: Intermediate at SWR, no clue at IaMP.

I'm also open to Melty Blood Act Cadenza even though I'm pretty terrible at it. I play Aoko, Kohaku (YES, solo), and White Ren.

I didn't fare well against .dot...

I'm not going to trust people when they say "intermediate" or "mediocre" without some factual data (can beat Lunatic AIs, only has been playing for about so many days) or until I play them and see if I win or not...

Chidori!, come to think of it, your latency dropped from 453ms to 90ms. That's huge improvement, but not enough. Google another method.

Response to LilyPichu: I guess... It's just that I've had experiences where people who thought they were godly got pwnt by little ol me in SWR, and there were people who called themselves newbish who destroyed me losing only 25% on SWR.

Mediocre as in, I'm normal at best. As in, normally, I suck. I can't count the exact number of days I've been playing because it's been on and off. 'sides, I thought this was just general info. ?_?

Playing time: 4-5 months, didn't get serious about IaMP until about 2-3 months in
Est. skill level: Above average. Can air combo, spot situationals, corner juggle, do some fair h/l mixups. Can near-perfect Lunatic AI in IaMP. Easy to bait.

Also, Midday, we played 4 matches, but those were friendly practise/analysis games. If it's a serious set of matches, I play odd numbers of games.

I beg to differ. Since I rarely play PvP matches, I'm not very skillful against players, since CPU playing style is a lot different.

I just started playing IaMP (i have the full version) but i've never played Human mode, i never play SWR, but i'll get it. Still, i'm not that good at IaMP, but i can do the basic stuffs
