I'm Canadian, so I call them pop. I like it that way.

Anyways, I like Coke and Pepsi because I'm addicted to caffeine. I ABSOLUTELY hate any diet drink though. It tastes terrible. And I don't like any kind of root beer as well (yes, that includes Dr Pepper). I just can't drink them due to their weird taste. Go ahead, hate me. I will never like the pop.

That's impossible. You breathe CO2 out whenever you breathe, so you can't be allergic to it.

It takes some getting used to. When I first drank Dr. Pepper, I thought it was downright disgusting, but after a couple more, I was fine with the taste. It isn't my favorite soda, but it doesn't completely suck compared to something like Mountain Dew.

Dr Pepper is not anywhere near root beer. I don't see why you would even have one associated with the other besides the fact both are carbonated soft drinks and typically share a similar color.

Then again, by that same criteria, I suppose Pepsi and Coke are also root beer?

But to answer the OP, I believe generic in most cases is better, not just cause it's cheaper, but mostly because it's like 12x (made up stat.) worse for you than regular. The only generics that have never worked were those Dr. Pepper wanna-be ones...cept Mr Pibb was pretty BA.

I prefer the generic Ginger Ale over the expensive ones. And I forget who mentioned RC, but yeah...when you find that stuff, you know it's a fantastic day.

EDIT: (I deemed this important) That first pic is only about half of what I actually did, I left a lot more at my friends house.

Anyway, Dr Pepper and root beer are the best drinks ever. I can't choose between them; lately I've been digging Dr Pepper more, especially at restaurants where you can get free refills of Dr Pepper but not of root beer.

I don't know, but when I drank it, it tastes like root beer to me. Coke and Pepsi are different because of the caffeine. Meh, either way, I still can't drink root beer nor Dr Pepper.
