Uh.

It didn't exist until September/October of 2002.

Some sophomores were playing it in CompSci my senior year (early October 2002). I thought it was cool and had played some DWI before, so I started playing and loved it.

I started back in March of 2005, 7th grade, saw some kid play cia rave and passed it with some 200 something combo and I tryed, I knew about DDR already so I was thinking it would be easy. Started right away on difficult songs, somehow my style was just naturally was 3 finger, with FC's about a few weeks later, didn't make my first name til somewhere around December, wanted a way to keep track of friends so made this name in April to start a mp team, and now it's 2007 and I still use my 3 fingers.

Guido: it did exist... just the old php forums and registration didn't kick in until Nov 02.

Read nestle's comments about being apart of xqsite since 01.

Correct. Prior to the official registration, the game itself (13 songs by that point - 4 dance, 4 hip-hop, 4 funk, 1 arcade if I remember correct), scores were strictly top 10 and all the news and updates and such were just one page and there was a link to a message board (not forum). That was the xqsite FFR I first saw in 2001.

Orignally I found it while searching for a DDR sim (like stepmania but on the interent) I found it waaaay back in 2003 when the game was still in devolpment and had like 6 songs... Then later on addictinggames.com, ever since I've been playing it like all the time.

Also in game play, didn't the original FFR background used to be white instead of black? (2003 ish)

My friends Scott and John came across FFR at one point and showed me, and within a short time period, I became decently good to play the easier songs. Scott eventually stopped playing as me and John kept playing, and then John eventually stopped playing and I kept going, and then I stopped playing.

That was the tale of ozracing_797.

A while after, I decided to come back, and a person named Genoman2003 asked if I could make a division of Team Domination (back then only a XBOX Live racing team), for FFR. Confused yet intrigued I followed through with him, now TD_Geno at this point, and I became TD_Project. And yeah, we made TD and then other teams came onto the scene. And I overall regret bringing teams to FFR. Sorry everyone. (TD died on FFR as far as I know but still runs on XBOX Live)

That was the tale of TD_Project.

Unfortunately only the top paragraph was related to the thread, so ignore the second paragraph.

Must have just been a miscommunication or an improper use of terms, then, because this is what I was going on:

I'm not a vet or anything but here's how I found this site:

1. I discovered Cranky, the author of Party 4 U, along with other authors, pico and loki. Their music kicked ass. There used to be a site called sonic something that had a lot of it.
2. I found a pico song in a DDR simulation in Flash and put it on my website.
3. After playing the Flash game for hours and mastering it, Kaftan told me about a 'way better' Flash DDR simulation. I found it soon afterwards and started playing FFR. This was at the last two months of 2005.
4. Addicted to it in December 2005 - ?

Also, my Join Date on the forums is later than when I got hooked.

Technically, you might be, but no one knows you.
=/

EDIT: Actually, to be considered a veteran, you HAVE to be ACTIVE on forums for a long time. Just because you joined in 2003 doesn't make you a veteran.
