wtf are you talking about!? i dont think i've ever seen a symmetrical animal...and by symetrical i mean perfectly symmetrical. for example, humans look symmetrical, but if u were to take a picture of somebody's face, and then edit it so it's the left side mirrored or the right side mirrored, it would look like 3 different people. also, with coloration patterns on most animals, it would be impossible to be perfectly or even close to symmetrical. like, one of my dogs looks like a different dog if u see him through a mirror. it's weird, but true

...animals are faily symmetrical... if you wanna be strict to the level of stupidity... then nothing that physically exists is symmetrical because of an imbalance of molecules etc. sigh*

you know what i meant.

well, anything with coloring patterns are rarely symmetrical at all. like my dog, for example. looks like a different dog completely when he's in a mirror. something solid colored (like a human) however is much more symmetrical, and it takes cheap Photoshop tricks to prove this wrong. so yeah, not all animals are, but alot are.

I didn't mean anything like that. I just find symmetry interesing because when I think of it and see it, it's like seeing a big debt settled, like everything is even and there is no need to fix anything.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yes.

Like how a crooked picture on the wall can bother you.
A nice balance, like in nature.

Check out this symmetry.

I believe that the fact that we can argue about this is beautiful. I love to argue, about almost anything, as long as feelings aren't hurt. The fact that people can see one thing from so many differnt sides is beautiful, and in some cases, extraordinary. I find beauty in many places, though. To me, in my opinion, love is the most beautiful thing. But life in general, friends, family, God, music, art, live theatre, films, (the arts in general.) I find that there is beauty in almost eveything...and it really does depend on how one veiws it. Interesting, but difficult topic to discuss.
Good day to everyone! =)

Sorry ayanepuck, but some people can't be contradicted without their feelings (pride) being hurt. You'll have to face that someday.

I understand that, Typist, but I am saying that I, personally, do not like making other people feel worse than they did before the arguement. I also happen to think that pride and feelings are two different things. And as far as "facing that someday" I have faced it, and I do not like it...and try to avoid hurting people whenever possible.

Aesthetics, eh? I can think of some aesthetically pleasing people, but not in public, because that can grow to be embarassing...
